N American Union Highway has Texas Candidates up in arms

The North American Union NAFTA Super-Highway, which is taking form first through the Trans-Texas Corridor, is a massive land-grab, with plans to seize over 1 million acres in Texas alone through eminent domaign. This has candidates like Texas Democrats Hank Gilbert (running for Commissioner of Agriculture) and David Van Os (running for Attorney General in Texas) up in arms and discussing the possibility of an armed populist revolution in response to the North American Union's sovereignty-seizing actions.

Amazingly enough, the arrogance of Rick Perry continued to spiral upwards when, at the one (and only), gubernatorial debate he had the audacity to say that we voted for it!!! WHAT?! If we voted for it we sure as heck didn't know it. That tells you how out of touch he, and many of his cohorts, are.

I don't know about outright violence, but I do see protests, arrests, and court battles on the horizon. My state rep, Jim Keffer, has insisted that there are so many holes in this plan, that it may never get off the ground. However, I think that if the Bushites want it, they'll get it. We Texans have to unite and fight. Voting is a big part of it. Strayhorn said she would tear up the contract, and I believe Bell, Friedman, and Warner would do about the same. In fact, the only clown amongst the circus that is the Texas governor's race that supports this is Perry. I'd like to think he'd get a clue by seeing his low approval ratings, but I doubt it.

I've told friends and family this for a long time, but it needs repeating. Perry is not the onlu problem. TxDOT needs some major restructuring at the top. If they had the power, the entire state of Texas would be covered in pavement, and they would charge you a toll to pull out of your driveway.

Hank and David are saying exactly what I have been hearing. Texans are angry and Rick Perry better back off the Trans Texas Corridor. I don't know how many more burrs you can put under our saddles. Illegal immigration is a big one and add the TTC and you've created one heck of a bucking bronco.

I don't know which party will do us more damage at this point. There are very few Texas Candidates that are worth their salt. People better use their heads this election and not be followers of the political mouth pieces that are telling you what they think you want to hear.
