Want a $125,000-a-year job?

Halliburton Co., the Houston-based oil drilling firm, is on a hiring binge with plans to add 11,000 people to payrolls in North America this year, Jim Brown, president of the company’s Western Hemisphere, told CNBC’s Jim Cramer this week.

The majority of those jobs will be in North Dakota, where new technology is allowing drillers to tap into the fourth largest oil reserve in the country.

But if you are willing to move and don’t mind long underwear, the jobs are there and pay well for people of all skill levels.

Brown said the company is seeking engineers of all sorts, as well as MBAs and people with hard sciences, biology, chemistry and physics backgrounds.

However, Halliburton is also hiring for front line positions that Brown said can pay $125,000 to people with high schools diplomas after two years of training.
