Republican Party Despises The Tea Party

Posted by Rodney Lee Conover on Dec 1, 2013

For those of you, who like myself have been waiting patiently for the organized outcry of condemnation, boycotts and loud personal outrage from the Republican establishment over Martin Bashir’s comments regarding Sarah Palin – you can forget it. Because they – many of them her colleagues at Fox News – despise Ms. Palin, the Tea Party and you.

Oh, they’ll take your money and your votes, don’t worry about that. They’ll take the majority in the House of Representatives, provided by you and the Tea Party in 2010 – then stick it up yours by funding ObamaCare on October 16, 2013 – but outside of that, could you just shut up and go back to shootin’ yer gun and watching Honey Boo Boo? They got it handled from here, m-kay?

Despite being a driving force in that 2010 effort, Sarah Palin doesn’t deserve much more than a passing mention that Martin Bashir has now apologized for his “remarks” that would get a conservative thrown off the air forever, condemned by 100% of the known universe and referenced in every election for the next 30 years.

Just now I was going to say; “I can’t repeat what Martin Bashir said about Sarah Palin” – but to hell with that. It’s repulsive and if you don’t want to hear it, stop reading now.. I’ll wait while you click below and “LIKE” my Facebook Page. See what I did there?
Okay:
Imagine [ INSERT FOX BROADCASTER HERE ] said Hillary Clinton deserves to have someone take a crap in her mouth and piss in her eyes? That’s what Martin Bashir said about Sarah Palin, in case you haven’t heard. Next time someone claims the mainstream media isn’t wildly liberal, suggest they have #2 done in their mouths and when they look at you weird, just say you’re quoting a division of NBC News. Then walk away, because you’re speaking to a delusional fool who does not and will never understand the difference between fact and fiction.

But back to the Republicans:

Sarah Palin is a grandmother. She’s a nice person standing up for what she believes in and yes, it’s a free country. I’m not suggesting that Martin Bashir be denied his First Amendment Rights – but where in God’s name are the Republican’s? Where are you guys?

You ask me, I think that haircut is birth control enough..

Look what happened when Rush Limbaugh called Sandra Fluke a slut? The Dems went nuclear! They didn’t circle the wagons – they stampeded in a blaze of organized, unified glory. It was everywhere and I don’t care if they got the usual help with the media’s slick distribution of talking points, I didn’t see hardly anything on even Fox News with people having Sarah Palin’s back.

Before you go nutty on me, I know Sarah Palin has her defenders and I love the Eric Boling’s and the Kimberly Guilfoyle’s of the world, but damnit it’s not enough.

Something like this deserves a concerted effort to bring attention to not just a psycho like Bashir, but to exposing NBC for what they are: A wing of the Democrat Party.

That’s right I said it (in my best Levin voice)! Don’t Republicans know they’re missing a grand opportunity to use this disgusting display of left-wing vitriol to condemn the entire relationship between the non-Fox media and the Democrat Party?

I know she got interviewed by Chris Wallace to defend herself, but why should she have to defend herself? I’m saying where was the loud, screaming outcry from our side? No offense to Chris – he’s a great interviewer who really can pin an opponent down, but I’m talking about the entire right-of-center-universe standing up and not letting this go until Ms. Palin goes on air and says; “enough already, I’m blushing…” Why hasn’t it happened?

I’ll tell you why: Establishment types such as Karl Rove, John McCain, Peter King and a host of other regulars on Fox along with establishment Republicans in Congress despise Ms. Palin, the Tea Party and the new conservative movement. Look no further than Mitch McConnell’s comments recently about conservative “bullies” needing to be punched in the nose.

“Bullies?”

That’s what they think of Americans who believe Republicans ought to stand for – and vote for – limited government, individual liberty and upholding the Constitution? Then so be it. Watch out – here come the bullies, friend. 2014. Who’s with me?
