    Status of Obama's approval ratings

I'm starting to see some actual negative comments here and there about Obama's performance (including the late night guys like Letterman and Leno who are finding material for jokes now!) Has anyone seen anything on popularity polls--and any change from Messiah status??

Yes, the Golden Boy is losing his shine already and he's only been in office a little more than 2 weeks. If he keeps trying to jam this so called stimulous pkg down our throats, while threatening another Great Depression, things should get even more interesting.

I think a speech on the radio quoted him as saying that the "Buy American" provision in the stimulus is going to be taken out. That should buy him a few lower approval points. John McCain was quoted saying the same thing, but his voice sounded especially weak and filled with embarrasment. They both expound the lie that "trade agreements" prevent the US from having Buy American provision, but we have learned from long bitter experience that the only thing they want is foreign appeasment at the expense of a secure country. It sounded like the old McCain: ignore the bad things foreigners have done to the US and work to undermine US citizens.

The total irony is that giving Americans their jobs back their were lost to bad foreign trade deals and illegal aliens (and Green Cards for foreigners to take even more jobs away) were the only things Americans were going to want and no silver-toungued speeches were going to change that.

I called up Debbie Stabenow's office in two locations: they now tell you to go to a website to look up recent press releases but this 'dodge' is not going to work, and they know it.

I heard yesterday he has dropped in 18 days from 80% approval to 55%...that is quite a drop, wonder if it is a record....

"The bigger they are the harder they fall" guess it has more than one meaning...

Rasmussen has him at 62%. Not shocking. In fact considering all that is going on I think it would be hard to keep high approval ratings. NONE of these spineless leaders are going to do what they need to really do. They all play games. Rome is burning!

He hasn't dropped enough for me! I love seeing MSNBC, CNBC, and CNN complaining too! LOL

I liked it when Etta james said, "He ain't my President!" This is after Obama and wifie danced to her song sung by Beyonce'! Etta ain't happy 'bout that either! Go Etta!

The Blacks that don't like Obama REALLY don't like him. I find it refreshing that some didn't go along and vote for him just because he's Black. (My)Pastor Manning is rabid over Obama. I remember that guy from Chicago that was saying that Obama did nothing for Chicago and NOT to vote for him.

90% of the others did that. They don't seem to know what racist means as they are only used to calling Whites that. Voting for someone because of their skin color isn't right.

I WISH that a great "American" Black person would have ran. I would have voted for that way over McCain.

I was just watching CNN, and Wolf was pointedly asking the budget guy about all the spending proposals--and whether they REALLY create JOBS!! The answer is parroting what Obama said this morning: "The time for talking is over. We have to ACT quickly because things are desperate!"

The time for talking is over??? The more we ask, the more angry citizens become. Obama does not want to give us time to see how terrible this money grab really is. He was really coming across as a bully on that clip. Give me what I want--and give it to me NOW!! I'm hoping people will see how he is hiding the awful details of this bill and will generate great anger from citizens. They need to start to see that his halo is falling.

I heard that the stimulus gives $4 billion to Acorn? how does that generate jobs? And they want to eliminate the "Buy American" provisions in the Bill because they really want more Americans to lose jobs!

Free Trade is killing this country!
