On Bill O'Reilly now is an Oath Keeper representative, Stewart Rhodes, to answer Mr. Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Lie Center accusations from last evenings broadcast.

Bill O'Reilly is reading from the Oath Keepers' website. Discussing that bad weather, state of emergency can take guns from citizens. Marshal Law in Katrina being discussed by Mr. Rhodes, overstepped in treatment of elderly woman.

Mr. Rhodes is speaking of staying strict to the Constitution.

I get the impression that Bill is less apt to tear into this gentleman, because the man is informed on the law, informed on the Constitution. The SPLC has a Pinocchio problem.

When O'Reilly attempted to counter Mr. Rhodes on his views, and on statements from his website, Mr. Rhodes seemed confident of what he knows, and I thought that Bill backed down from how he might usually behave.

O'Reilly likes to know it all, but Mr. Rhodes knew more this time on the subject matter. O' Reilly may not like what was said, but how can he argue the Constitutional limits on what the government can and cannot do?

Rhodes mentioned that people can be prosecuted for following orders, orders outside of the Constitutional constraints. Court martial could result.

I found it suspicious that Oreilly omitted the fact that members of Congress have been threatened with Marshall Law in the last year year and a half... twice I think.

Oreilly is to smart and informed to miss things like that.

I went back and listened to the interview again after reading the YouTube comments, including Alipac. O' Reilly made the "extreme" comment around 3:48 on the video. I guess with his cold, he seemed less scathing in his manner to me.

O 'Reilly needs to reread the Constitution as it is written, not as it evolves under progressive interpretation.
