    Victims from weekend shootings named
Milwaukee police officer Salvador Hernandez was one of the first on the scene of a homicide early Saturday in which his brother was killed, police said this morning.

The homicide was one of 28 shooting four of them fatal in Milwaukee over the Memorial Day weekend.
Martin Hernandez, 28, was shot multiple times after he and others intervened in a fight outside La Carreta Vieja Tavern, 1408 S. 14th St., said Anne E. Schwartz, department spokeswoman. Police don't think Hernandez was involved in the original incident, she said.

"He was an innocent victim," she said.

Three others were grazed by bullets in the shooting, she said. Police are looking for three men and a woman. The men got into a fight with another man in the bar, which spilled outside.

In another homicide at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, Ryan Tate, 22, was shot in the head after getting an argument with people in a car in the 2600 block of N. Sherman Blvd.

Police are still looking for a suspect in the shooting of five people, two of whom died, at South Shore Park Monday evening. Schwartz said the suspect, a 32-year-old man, knew all the victims and that it was a domestic dispute.

Raymundo Munoz-Silva, 31, and Julio C. Diaz-Guillen, 17, were each shot multiple times in the head at the scene. Two other men, 21 and 34, were shot in the leg. A 23-year-old woman was shot in the chest and was in stable condition, she said.

In another shooting, police said they are investigating the possibility that Ester Hodges accidentally shot herself Saturday night near her house in 4300 block of W. Garfield St., Schwartz said.

Hodges was hit in the abdomen after getting in a dispute with people from a house down the street. She got her gun when the dispute heated up.

On Sunday, police did not indicate to a reporter from the Journal Sentinel that Hodges may have shot herself.

I know Milwaukee, and am not surprised. The neighborhoods mentioned are not by far the best to be in.

Never went to Milwaukee but did some minor trips to Mt.Horeb years ago. Was such a nice place. Haven't been back but from illegals I met it's one of the best places to go for jobs. They would go to Wis. in the summer and come back to Florida in the winter....too cold.
