FORT WORTH, Texas -- Thousands of people who use a popular travel Web site are at risk for credit card fraud.
Dallas-based Hotels.com said a laptop computer containing personal information for thousands of customers was stolen in February.
Last week, the company mailed letters to those who could have been affected by the theft.
A spokesperson for the company said there is no indication if the information on the laptop has been used fraudulently.
