JOE BIDEN'S CHOICE OF WORDS
I believe the word Joe Biden meant to use was “fresh” which meant “new” or “different.” “Spotless background” or not “contaminated politically.” I do not believe he meant “clean” as in not dirty referring to personal hygiene.
Two words you do not use in describing a Black man is “clean” and “smart” kind of like the Gieco commercial about the cave man as in not dirty and not stupid. He tried to cover up with the excuse about a phrase that his mother used; “clean as a whistle, sharp as a tack,” which still mean not dirty and smart.’ I believe this was insult upon insult and he should have stopped at clean. His choice of words could have been better, but I do not think any malice was intended. His choice or words was bad.
