I'm confused...who's constitution?
I get e mails from the pro immigration groups to keep up on what is going on. I just got this one:
Dear Immigration Reformer,
It’s come to this: our opponents are demonizing newborn babies to try to stop immigration reform.
Senator Lindsey Graham said that he wants to repeal the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, so that children born in this country don’t become citizens. And Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell said that he wants to hold hearings to explore the idea.
Repealing the 14th Amendment would mean reversing a law originally put in place to protect former slaves after the Civil War. It would mean that babies born in this country aren’t citizens. These senators and other politicians are trying to take rights away from newborn children.
Since the Republican leadership made clear that they’re pursuing an extremist agenda, we’ve been fighting back. So far, our supporters have made more than 2000 calls to tell the Republicans that we need real solutions, not schemes that destroy the values in our Constitution. We’re not going to let them drag down real immigration reform with hatred and discrimination. To do that, we need your help.
Make a $30 contribution so we can make 80 more calls.
These politicians have shown where they’re standing: side by side with extremists who aren’t interested in solutions. The people who concocted this idea want to stop any constructive efforts to fix our broken immigration system.
The politicians making these statements haven’t always endorsed repealing parts of the Constitution and ignored the real reform we need. Senate majority leader Harry Reid said that these Republicans have “either taken leave of their senses or their principles.â€

I find it sickening how these illegal invader activists are willing to exploit our laws, as well as attempt to hijack the misery and brutality inflicted upon former slaves, in order to further their agenda by preserving their anchor baby loophole.
These invaders violate our sovereignty and then try to piggyback off our past to further their invasion! Get the hell out of this country!

Thank You ReggieMay, I knew there was something twisted about that statement. I ran right past it.
