Parks Program Aims to Help Veterans

Today reporter Kyle Benedict visits Dead Horse Ranch State Park to investigate a program aimed at helping homeless veterans. Bryan Martyn, executive director of Arizona State Parks, says the purpose of the program is to provide homeless veterans with a job, a fair wage, a place to live, and a purpose. Justin Swiger, assistant manager at Dead Horse Ranch State Park describes the facilities at the park. Carlos Garcia, a former combat engineer, describes his experience working for the state park system and his hopes for the future.
