This is something we are also going to have to keep an eye on. If you are a woman or gay you will have much to worry about. They will take the woman movement back 2,000 years. If you are gay, you will have to go back into the closet. This is what the hate crimes bill is going to bring about, many more of such cases. We can't publicaly show our christian faiths but we bend over backwards to show our tolerance for other religions, just like white people bend over backwards to prove they are not racist, much to their own detriment.

An organization in the national spotlight recently for producing a documentary identifying several dozen potential terrorist training compounds in the U.S. has offended the sensibilities of Maine bureaucrats, who have fined the organization $4,000, alleging among other things that the group sent out mailings containing an “inflammatory anti-Muslim message.â€

But what has Maine bureaucrats roiling is a fundraising mailing sent by CAN (a copy of which was provided to Pajamas Media) regarding a public school curriculum used in California requiring students to pray to Allah, dress up as Muslims, adopt Muslim names, and learn the five pillars of Islam.

Where is the evidence that any California public school is doing this? Wouldn't a Christian or Jewish parent be screaming about this? I don't trust the garbage that gets put out on blogs.

Search for "teaching Islam in California schools" and you get sites. Keep searching and you will get to it. They really are doing this. In Arizona there are schools that say the pledge in Spanish.

While you were working hard, paying taxes and following the laws of the land, your politicians and teachers have been selling you down the river. We knew they were at colleges, but now they are in your public school system. The more you read, the more it will irritate you. When I left California they were voting at a local district to take Abraham Lincoln's birthday off the calendar for Cesar Chevez. I was wondering why they had to take Lincoln off. Why can't you just add Cesar if you are so intent on it.

We have to get out kids back to learning and away from activism for illegals/law breakers and stupid curriculums.

The Fatah is a practice near and dear to Muslims, they relocate but don't assimilate; instead, they impose their traditions, customs, language and faith on the new country's population. And too, the have large families. This is a blood-less way to dominate the world. It is working very well in Europe. This method is described in the holy Koran.

This strategy is not unique to the Muslims, as it has been successfully used by many populations intentionally or unintentionally. However at this time, this strategy is being purposely practiced by Muslims throughout the world.

The Hate Crimes bill is a precursor to the "Fairness Doctrine" which will eventually collapse our "Freedom of Speech" rights. It seems this doctrine, like much of the legislation being passed in the "dark of night" has an innocent sounding name, that does not give a true description of the legislation.

Laughinglynx, I did a search and most of the sites were from 2004-2006, and the sites were none I would consider "news" sources, but more rumormongers. Who are these people that pontificate their view of the world.
Yes the Saudis have funded in private Islamic school in Fairfax County VA, but for the intrusion of Islam into public schools apparently is not being addressed by parents of other religious persuasion at the moment, which makes me ask: why not?

Most of this heard about when I was leaving California in 2002. It was a talk show about education and people were calling in talking about what they were hearing their kids talk about when they came home from school. I researched and it was true then. Basically it was up to the teacher. Which scares me with all the ultra-liberal teachers out there. I would go nuts if I found out my kid was being taught this. Especially, the best I can tell, most kids now can barely write a simple sentence let alone add two numbers. Forget about asking them to divide.

But, above that, my concern is how a teacher can do something so easily. When I was listening to the talk show on the radio the parents were saying their kids were coming home reciting prayers to Allah.

So, I will continue to search. Because I lived in California I'm pretty sure there is still some of this being taught. California is pretty determined to give the state away. Maybe they will stop when they figure out what it is doing to them.
