RICHARD MORGAN - SUPERINTENDENT OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION

Richard Morgan - We have got to elect this fine individual to the Superintendent of Public Instruction - our school systems, colleges, students, parents, employers, and taxpayers will benefit from his total insight on our state issues in these troubling times. I spoke to him on our issues via the phone and I am so impressed, WE MUST HAVE RICHARD MORGAN AS OUR NEXT SUPERINTENDENT OF PUBLIC INSTRUCTION (SCHOOLS).

I am dissappointed in the endorsement of Chambliss in Georgia.

I can still see him & Isakson standing with Kennedy in support amnesty.
Not to mention his vote for the bail out which the majority of Georgians oppesed.

I will be cating my vote for Allen Buckely. Please see www.allenbuckley.com

    rwright,

Chambliss voted our way and against Cloture on the Amnesty bills in the final rounds. Also, we feel we can keep Chambliss in line with the public on immigration enforcement because if he votes to erase the progress of the Georgia state legislature, the fallout would be career ending.

His career has ended as far as I'm concerned!
A vote for him is an approval of the job he is doing as a senator from Georgia.
    Something I refuse to do.

rwright, I know what you mean about Saxby. I live in GA, too. And I'm sure we're ALL disgusted with his sellout on the Bailout. That's why I checked out his Democrat opponent VERY thoroughly! Let me tell you that:
    a. Jim Martin wouldn't bother directly answering my detailed questions about the illegal immigration issue.
    b. I spent considerable effort discussing the problems with his stated stance on his web site, but all his spokeshole would do is refer me back to the "boilerplate" rhetoric on his web site. This rhetoric (of course) includes the usual tired BS about needing to provide a path to legalization ("we'll charge them a fine & make 'em pay back-taxes, etc.") and also that "we can't possibly deport them ALL!", etc.
    c. The fact is that Saxby can be MADE to "see the light" on this issue if we keep reminding him that we're watching him. Jim Martin won't listen.
    d. Unfortunately, (while I wish it weren't true) the Libertarian cannot win because he won't get enough votes. Now, if Saxby was completely hopeless, then I'd consider the 3rd party candidate regardless of his chances, just because he might be the only acceptable choice.

Well, from the looks of this article we may be in a win win situation in Georgia's US Senate race. That is good news

Here's what the Libertarian candidate Buckley says about illegals in this country (from his web site):
[quote]The illegal immigrants now here should be allowed to apply for the unskilled jobs specified above not filled by Americans. They should be allowed to take such jobs only if they pay a penalty for breaking the law and a fee for not having to “wait in lineâ€

    I am in Georgia too!

I recently emailed Saxby. I am sure he will never see it. That is the way that politicians work. However, hopefully, it will be counted and categorized, then possibly included in their campaign positions.

Basically and briefly, I chastised him for the "reach across the aisle" BS. I asked if it was Ok if I reached across the aisle by voting for Martin. Said I had as much right to do it as he did and how did it feel???
Then said, his staff is not serving him well and he may need to change some if they do not get the correct info to him as per: the gang of ten on energy. I said staff's job is to find the truth before Saxby votes not after. The public should not have to find out and let him know about the Dems trickery.
Lastly, I said my wife and I would vote for him again, but we would be watching him closely--it would be his last chance to support the wishes of his constituency.
