there is an article today that reaches the conclusion that both major political parties are involved in this "evolution" out of Constitutional restrictions. The fact that McCain and Obama both had problems and things got glossed over sure does hint that it might be the correct conclusion.
OK. Now we can all agree that if the Russians see the problem and our own government doesn't see it, acknowledge it, and resolve it, that doesn't leave the people much room other than to fire the government.
These twits of ours are just taking our money, getting rich and fat, and aren't holding up their end of the bargain (living within the constraints of the Constitution). So much for representative government.
Where's The Guy from Boston? Now we need him as our spokesman. Talking softly and respectfully just doesn't hack it anymore because these guys just don't listen.

Since the guy from Pravda has a distinctly non-Russian name, I did some research to find out who he is. He's an American who has written for other publications (based in the U.S.) but who found himself utterly frustrated in his attempts to get a berth with any of them in order to report on the Obama and McCain "natural born" issues.
Pravda -- oh supreme irony -- was the only one which is "national" (indeed, "international") in scope where he could find some freedom of the press.
Pretty amazing, if ya ask me.
