How to clean the lungs in 3 days

Many people live their lives with healthy lungs and always fall prey to respiratory problems, and others smoke for 45 years and suffer from no respiratory problems at all. To take extra precaution, follow the daily regimen below.

The following steps will help clear your lungs. You’ll need a juicing machine.
Dairy products may interfere with the detoxification process, therefore eliminate all dairy products two days prior to starting the regimen. The body has to get rid of toxins from dairy products long before you start to clean the lungs. It is also a good idea to avoid eating junk food.
Drink 1 cup of herbal laxative tea before going to bed the night before the first day of regimen. This frees the system of toxins in the intestines and prevent constipation.

Squeeze 2 whole lemons in 300 milliliters (1-1/4 cups) of water before breakfast. This will prepare you to digest alkalizing foods that help regenerate the lungs.

Drink 300 milliliters of grapefruit juice as a snack. If you don’t like the taste of the juice, mix it with a bottle of mineral water to dilute the strong taste or replace it with pineapple juice. These juices contain natural antioxidants that promote a healthy respiratory system.
Also, as a ‘snack’, drink 300 milliliters of pure carrot juice between breakfast and lunch. Carrot juice will help alkalize your blood during the 3 days of cleaning.

Drink 400 milliliters (1-3/4 cups) of a potassium-rich juice with your healthy lunch. Potassium is a powerful agent that acts as a tonic for cleaning when ingested in liquid form. Use a mixture of carrot, celery, spinach, and parsley.
Drink 400 Milliliters of cranberry juice before bedtime. It helps to fight bacteria in the lungs that can cause infections. Blueberries is also a powerful antioxidant that can take the place of cranberry juice.

A hot bath for 20 minutes every day is not just for relaxation or to rid your body of odor, it is another way to detox. It is important to allow the body to lose toxins through perspiration as much as possible. Adding a handful of baking soda, sea or epson salt, and some oils will help speed up the detoxification process.

A 30 minute brisk walk once a day.
Walking promotes healthy breathing. As you walk, you focus on breathing slowly and fully. It keeps the pace.

Place 5 to 10 drops of eucalyptus in hot water. Then put a dry towel on the back of the head and inhale the steam until the water is no longer hot. The properties of oil and steam can help loosen the mucus.

There may be many things that you cannot afford in this regime to clean the lungs. If this is your case, limit yourself to carrot juice, cranberry juice, and walk for a week.

A simple cardboard box can be reused to make a solar oven, that cooks purely with the power of the sun. Reflective material, like aluminum foil helps boost the temperature in the oven and if you surround your box with insulation, it will keep the heat in. The insulation could be as simple as a bigger box with packing peanuts between the two boxes or simply wrap your box in bubble wrap. A piece ...of glass (or other clear lid) helps keep the heat in (you could use an old single-pane window for that.

Here's anther addition to the "reduce, reuse, repair, recycle" category...a lamp beautifully crafted from wine bottles. Would be simple to make, actually. Drill out the cork & run the wire through, connect the cord to screw-in light hardware, and slide the hardware up into the cut bottle. Voila!

(Of course use compact fluorescent or screw-in LED bulbs for energy savings!)

These bathroom vanity cabinets are made from reclaimed wood. What I love is that some of the wood is left rough, but the wood you touch is all planed & sanded smooth. I love that contrast.

Mondays are my Reduce, Reuse, Rethink days...and this fence is one of my favorite examples of creative reuse of discarded objects. The owners used all manor of reused items, including wood, metal, windows, wheels, a bicycle...! And left room for the hedge to grown in at the bottom.
