Arizona-style immigrant bill planned
Sen. Charlie JanssenLINCOLN, Neb. (AP) _ The uproar over a new, immigration-related law in Arizona could resound in Nebraska next year. State Sen. Charlie Janssen of Fremont says he plans to introduce a similar bill in the Nebraska Legislature the next session, which begins in January. Arizona's bill requires police enforcing another law to verify a person's immigration status if there's ``reasonable'' suspicion the person is in the U.S. illegally. Supporters say it's a fair way to curb illegal immigration, while opponents say it will cause racial profiling. Janssen has already drafted a Nebraska bill, but he says it could be changed based on experiences Arizona has with its new law. He says crafting such a law so it can be enforced without racial profiling is one of the biggest hurdles.

I would love to have a much needed bill like the AZ law but here in Illinois Senator Dick Durbin and Louis Gutierrez are strong supporters of illegal aliens and prefer to violating our laws and will stand in the way of any bill there are no real honest law abiding congressional representatives in congress from Illinois looking out for the legal citizens in this state and of course the President is a Hawaiian transplant elected to President from the state of Illinois he is clearly either following someone else's advice or his brain is warped. we are drowning in illegal aliens, overcrowded schools, Spanish speaking people in every store bank hospital school college and in the streets all day and night we need help granted we are not border states but we feel the same impact of criminal behavior murders theft hit&run auto accidents lots of knifing lots of arrogant Spanish speakers in out community millions of unruly children this is a war zone with no relief in sight High unemployment for American citizens while state/government city & local jobs are filled with non-English speaking people. Every food bank salvation army is ravished to bare walls there is no assistance for American citizens the social services offices takes care of illegal/hispanics first no matter where you come into the line to get services American citizens are overlooked and the Spanish speakers are immediately taken care of.
You need to form a group and get with state legislators, forget about the Treasonous Crooks in DC. Work with your local representatives and state senators, probably Republicans would be the best to start out with. Convince one in your state House of Representatives and one in yourState Senate to introduce the bill. Then ALIPAC and NUmbersUSA and all the American People who want to stop illegal immigration will help get it passed and make it happen for you.Quote:

It's possible, even in Illinois. I was raised in the midwest right next to Illinois, they are no different than the people in Missouri or Indiana or Minnesota, who are already filing or announced they will be filing the AZ law in their states. The people of Illinois will support this bill. Go for it.

I believe the revolution has begun as the dunderheads in Washington believe they have brought us to our knees.
Let's see how many states the cities of Los Angeles and San Francisco are willing to boycott.
North Carolina needs to get on board.
We were over run awhile back not to mention our DMV gives these criminals false/fake IDs and drivers Licenses as well.
We need to start bombarding these people in congress to get this done.
I think and hope you are right we need this revolution to turn back this onslaught from Mexico.Quote:

Let's hope !!! I believe the people now have seen the Federal Government is a rogue body which works completely against the will of the people. I hope now we all realize we are in the biggest fight of our lives, against a methodical, calculated USA take down.Quote:

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague."
In our own native land, in defense of the freedom that is our birthright, and which we ever enjoyed till the late violation of it—for the protection of our property, acquired solely by the honest industry of our fore-fathers and ourselves, against violence actually offered, we have taken up arms. We shall lay them down when hostilities shall cease on the part of the aggressors, and all danger of their being renewed shall be removed, and not before.

Would love to see Florida on the list. I did not see it if it was. We could sure use a bill like that. I think FL is infested with illegals as CA and a few other border states. Once these bills become implemented there will be too many illegals to process.
Dear Alipac,
I am so very proud of these 17 other states that agreed to join Arizona and mainly to show they are very sick and tired of their tax payer dollars going on people who cross the border and getting pregnant here. The fact of the matter is, us tax payers are paying for their entire residency here!
On the other hand, I reside in the state of California and the governor refuses to pay attention on why are state is in so much finacial default. All the governor says as a comment is he would never stop any finacial income for the immigrants who are bringing family members to the California by the truck load.
Finally, these 17 other states should not take any racial commenting by congress or others. Great Job!
NOTE TO ALIPAC:
Illinois is drowning in illegal aliens please help us get a bill/law like the one in AZ you will find close to 90% in favor of Illinois getting such a law. As you know Illinois has about 40% of the illegals who are now in the U.S. and we are literally being destroyed financially Americans are being denied benefits while illegals are getting rich by working in jobs Americans are denied and receiving huge benefits using the same children by multiple families and a variety of different names Identity theft is Huge here as is crime Please help us put a stop to sanctuary cities (Chicago and surrounding communities) churches harboring illegals this is wrong and we want our government to enforce the immigration laws not offer another amnesty. Part of the reason the U.S. is failing is because we cannot afford to provide for the millions of illegal aliens and their children that is simply common sense. It is mind boggling to hear our leaders talk about granting another amnesty and refusing to enforce our laws this is totally disrespectful and in my mind an act of treason How can our government continue to refuse to support and enforce the immigration laws on the books. The nerve of our president to allow Calderon here to insult us while he is encouraging his citizens to invade our land so that Mexico can continue receiving billions of $ every year Remember the richest man in the world is in Mexico It is unbelievable and an insult that our president is sending a measly 1200 Nat'l guard troops to the border adding literally no additional support to the already 20,000 border agents that are already there his gesture is an insult to our intelligence and he and this congress should be impeached for that in addition to the fact that they refuse to enforce our border despite a clear mandate to do so
rain Illinois might be hard because you have clowns like dick durbin and roland burris in DC who LOVE illegals.
and you got that race baiter jesse jackson and luis guiterrez

I am a US citizen of European descent, but although I deplore any impostion to Hispanic American citizens, it is pretty clear that we are in desperate position relative to the quality of life and the standard of living we all cherish. The myopia of illegal alien enthusiasts is so incredible I find it almost unbelievable. We cannot accommodate all those in the entire world who wish to come here without bringing America into equilibrium with the third world, and most Americans support this idea http://immigration.civiltalks.com/
It will be a cold day in hell before Ca. follows any Immigration Law. :oQuote:

Reason for above, I know California and Florida both have not joined Arizona. This is going to be a bad year for Florida because of the oil leak and florida will need help. So go to Disneyworld and have fun.
I heard on the news earlier that Tennessee is passing a bill soon so ill let every one know asap. i :D can say from what the news has to say was very encouraging. :D

Taking a correct step against illegal workers
There are an estimated 175,000 illegal workers in Pennsylvania, with 18,000 of them employed in construction.
Of those totals, most of these workers are working under the radar for less pay and no benefits, eliminating jobs for others. And always remember, they are not here legally.
There is no way that should sound like correct business practice to you.
The Legislature apparently has finally gotten the message and last week passed, with bipartisan support, a pair of House bills requiring contractors and subcontractors doing business for the state to verify employment eligibility of their workers. Contractors violating the provision could be barred from state projects.
We'd like to see the regulations extended to include verification for those working for any business. But this is a start and clearly the correct direction to go in. There's no way hardworking, taxpaying Pennsylvanians should be losing jobs and/or having their tax dollars spent on people illegally living and working in the state.
Thankfully, this bill did not illicit the over-the-top response illegal immigration measures in Arizona have prompted. Apparently, there is a better understanding of what the word illegal means in Pennsylvania.
Naturally, the American Civil Liberties Union spoke out against the bills, stamping them as an invasion of privacy and expressing concerns that an unreliable database would be used.
The energy spent by the ACLU on protecting what is not legal as opposed to protecting those who suffer the consequences never ceases to amaze. At some point soon the attention has to start going to those who understand the privileges of our country and respect its laws. The Legislature took a correct step in that direction with these two bills.

We never got TN on our list before the bill was signed into law because no newspaper or lawmaker would give us verification it was like AZ's SB 1070. Either that or our TN activists completely dropped the ball on this one.
Regardless,
let's add TN and Florida to the main list now..
