Armed Chinese Troops in Texas!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKfuS6gfxPY&feature=relmfu
NOTE: It is important to separate hunting down terrorists who attack our country and deserve justice (which Ron Paul is 100% for), and not confuse justice with occupying entire countries for a decade under the guise of the "War on Terror" or "Spreading Democracy". Terrorists are individuals and small groups, so why are we picking fights with entire nations?
BILLIONS for Defense, NOT A PENNY for Empire.
This speech is called "Imagine" and it was given by Ron Paul on March 11, 2009. The original text of the talk is below:
Imagine for a moment that somewhere in the middle of Texas there was a large foreign military base, say Chinese or Russian. Imagine that thousands of armed foreign troops were constantly patrolling American streets in military vehicles. Imagine they were here under the auspices of "keeping us safe" or "promoting democracy" or "protecting their strategic interests."
Imagine that they operated outside of US law, and that the Constitution did not apply to them. Imagine that every now and then they made mistakes or acted on bad information and accidentally killed or terrorized innocent Americans, including women and children, most of the time with little to no repercussions or consequences. Imagine that they set up checkpoints on our soil and routinely searched and ransacked entire neighborhoods of homes. Imagine if Americans were fearful of these foreign troops, and overwhelmingly thought America would be better off without their presence.
Imagine if some Americans were so angry about them being in Texas that they actually joined together to fight them off, in defense of our soil and sovereignty, because leadership in government refused or were unable to do so. Imagine that those Americans were labeled terrorists or insurgents for their defensive actions, and routinely killed, or captured and tortured by the foreign troops on our land. Imagine that the occupiers' attitude was that if they just killed enough Americans, the resistance would stop, but instead, for every American killed, ten more would take up arms against them, resulting in perpetual bloodshed. Imagine if most of the citizens of the foreign land also wanted these troops to return home. Imagine if they elected a leader who promised to bring them home and put an end to this horror.
Imagine if that leader changed his mind once he took office.
The reality is that our military presence on foreign soil is as offensive to the people that live there as armed Chinese troops would be if they were stationed in Texas. We would not stand for it here, but we have had a globe-straddling empire and a very intrusive foreign policy for decades that incites a lot of hatred and resentment towards us.
According to our own CIA, our meddling in the Middle East was the prime motivation for the horrific attacks on 9/11. But instead of re-evaluating our foreign policy, we have simply escalated it. We had a right to go after those responsible for 9/11, to be sure, but why do so many Americans feel as if we have a right to a military presence in some 160 countries when we wouldn't stand for even one foreign base on our soil, for any reason? These are not embassies, mind you, these are military installations. The new administration is not materially changing anything about this. Shuffling troops around and playing with semantics does not accomplish the goals of the American people, who simply want our men and women to come home. 50,000 troops left behind in Iraq is not conducive to peace any more than 50,000 Russian soldiers would be in the United States.
Shutting down military bases and ceasing to deal with other nations with threats and violence is not isolationism. It is the opposite. Opening ourselves up to friendship, honest trade and diplomacy is the foreign policy of peace and prosperity. It is the only foreign policy that will not bankrupt us in short order, as our current actions most definitely will. I share the disappointment of the American people in the foreign policy rhetoric coming from the administration. The sad thing is, our foreign policy WILL change eventually, as Rome's did, when all budgetary and monetary tricks to fund it are exhausted.

Fake Conservatives As Dangerous To Freedom As Obama
http://www.zerohedge.com/sites/defau...-elephant3.jpg
If Americans are looking for anything in the dark clouds of political dust and powdered ash that choke our air and leave us feeling naked against the elements, it is but a simple moment of sincerity. It sounds like an easily attainable thing, and yet, we continue to gasp and clamor. The visible surface of our nation is so devoid of honest connection with our social voice that we have turned to a cynical form of loneliness. We have embraced a life without clarity, and been made wretchedly bitter, desperate for even the faintest taste of truth.
The false two party paradigm that drives America gives us a measure of sustenance. Just enough to keep us from going completely mad, but not enough to end our hunger. As this process continues, however, and the establishment grows bolder, we too become savvy in the ways of the machine. Eventually, the old standards just don’t keep the masses distracted like they used to, and so, the system, not willing to give up power, decides instead to become “like us”, at least outwardly. It steals our vision and our song and goes on parade. It tries to make us believe again…
The campaign of Barack Obama in 2008 was a perfect example of the propaganda pageant, complete with visceral slogans like “Hope” and “Change”. After eight years of the clownish George Bush Jr., when our country spiraled down into a state of disturbed and vicious adolescence, people were looking for a renewal. They were looking for a path away from the edge of the abyss. Instead, they were given a better liar, with a brand new costume. The American Dream has become harder to sustain since…to say the least.
In 2012, what I see is like a lightning bolt in slow motion. I can sense it branching out across the sky towards the ground and tearing through our surroundings, upending everything we know. Both the President and Congress have some of the lowest approval ratings in history. The question of whether anything can be accomplished through government has been answered for most people with a resounding “no”. The citizenry is on the verge of total fury.
I wish I could say that most have abandoned the fleeting hollow satisfaction of choosing the “lesser of two evils”, but that would not be accurate.
Recently, I was invited (by several separate people) to a central event in the state elections of Montana called the “Lincoln-Reagan Dinner”, and promptly tried to avoid it like a rat infested plague ship. I know from experience what these kinds of political elbow rubbing parties can be like, and have been thoroughly unimpressed. Somehow, I ended up there anyway. If your only experience of the Republican Party was to attend such shindigs, you might think the stuffy anal-retentive caricatures we often see of conservatives are well deserved. In stark contrast to a Ron Paul rally, most of the attendees were little younger than 55, and few seemed very animated. Perhaps they were suffering from the same distaste of the whole thing as I was. Luckily, a solid 15% of the crowd were Liberty Movement oriented, which helped me to weather the overall painful proceedings (I also won a door prize; a coupon for a free dinner, mmmm…), but a pair of earplugs and a bottle of whiskey would have been far more comforting.
The party also gave me a momentary window into the future of the state in which I now reside, and even the probable nature of campaigns occurring across the nation. The prospects weren’t very pretty.
If Americans plan to look to the GOP to save them from the jaws of impending disaster, they had better reconsider that foolish notion. Obama may be riding the economic collapse straight at us like a wild Mako shark, but that’s no excuse to delude ourselves with fantasies of a Republican savior. Mitt Romney (a man whose legislative record is little different from Obama’s) is just the tip of the iceberg. At the state level, a much more dire charade is taking place.
A most noticeable trend is the language that fake conservatives (Neo-Cons) have adopted in the past year, switching from die hard statism to sudden “opposition” to Federal encroachment. What happened to the GOP’s love affair with centralized government? Well, the tides of the populace have changed considerably over the past few years, and in 2012, co-option is the name of the game.
While the media goes out of its way to ignore Ron Paul, the elites in the GOP have lately decided its better to sound at least a little bit like the Constitutionalist candidate. Now, the parasites are brandishing rhetoric they wouldn’t have been caught dead uttering not long ago; railing against EPA intrusion on state jurisdiction of natural resources mostly, and the Federal Government in general, but it wasn’t much help. Speech after speech, the candidates were heavy on flag waving placations, light on substance or honor. The general message of the assembly was repeated over and over again;
WHOEVER the chosen candidates were after the primaries, conservatives were “duty bound” to supplant Obama and the Democrats at all costs. That is to say, if we do not unify around the selected Republican con-squad, Obama’s reelection would be entirely the fault of the non-conformists. “Anyone but Obama” was the catch phrase of the evening…
Sound familiar? It should. It’s the same kind of campaign the Democrats were running against Bush back in 2004, and it will lead to the same kind of disappointment.
Two political front men in Montana in particular left me so disgusted I could barely digest dinner afterwards. The first, of course, was Neil Livingstone, who as far as I can tell, is the quintessential nightmare candidate from the seventh circle of hell. With ties to the CIA under Air America, Iran Contra (though he denies it), multiple Blackwater-style mercenary firms, a penchant for death squads, and backdoor deals with dictators like Moammar Qaddafi, it’s hard to imagine a worse governor for an anti-Federal pro-Constitutional state like Montana.
Though we have been covering this information since Livingstone’s entry into the race, it’s nice to see that other outlets are finally catching on: The Most Interesting Gubernatorial Candidate in the World | Mother Jones
Mother Jones treats Livingstone’s record as a kind of anomaly; an outlandish joke that makes him unelectable. However, I tend to take his presence in Montana a bit more seriously. Money and friends in high places are still viable strategies in our very corrupt electoral process, and Livingstone has both.
The fact that the man moved back to Montana barely a year ago just to run for the governor’s position is also disconcerting. His running mate, Ryan Zinke, a former Seal Team 6 member, stated his solution to Montana’s unemployment problems is to build predator drone factories (I’m not joking).
And, both have received backing from a local retired two star general by the name of Paul Vallely who wrote a book called “The Myths Of Gitmo: Torture, Abuse Or The Truth”, in which he defends the detainment procedures of the infamous facility and claims that no torture, or at least what he defines as torture, occurs there. Though, this is not half as disturbing as the paper “From PSYOP to MindWar: The Psychology of Victory” which he wrote with legendary military Psyop analyst and creepy occultist Michael Aquino (look this guy up for a lesson in dangerously weird).
Vallely has been posing locally and nationally as a Liberty Movement proponent with his organization “Stand Up America”, just as Livingstone and Zinke have been posing as Constitutional freedom loving traditional conservatives. Anyone who has studied the Cointelpro operations of the 1960’s and 1970’s would probably see a familiar pattern in all of this, but many Montanans I fear may not be quite so aware.
Livingstone gets consistent applause for his broken record jokes on the hot button wolf problem here in the Big Sky State. And his speaking style is well trained.
Like most political snake oil salesmen, he has the ability to talk a lot without saying much. It may well be that the Constitutionalist movement that is thriving here has garnered special attention, and men like those listed so far are not here by coincidence.
The second politician stealing our oxygen was Rep. Denny Rehberg, a self proclaimed Tea Party Republican who consistently votes for Neo-Con style legislation, including the NDAA. Rehberg washed patriotic during his substance-less speech during the Lincoln-Reagan dinner, wandering off on tangents about his mother and then back to push button topics like Obamacare.
The one saving feature of his campaign was his opposition to the bailouts.
Unfortunately, when confronted by Stewart Rhodes of Oath Keepers after the event on his support of the NDAA, Rehberg revealed his true colors.
Apparently not recognizing who Rhodes was, he accused the long time veteran of “not supporting the troops” because of his opposition to the bill.
When confronted on the specific provisions of the bill which allow for indefinite detainment of any person the executive branch accuses of being an enemy combatant without trial, Rehberg denied that the bill opened doors to such action. This has been the typical response from other fake conservatives who voted for the draconian legislation.
Strangely, representatives of Rehberg have tried to contact Rhodes in the past to show support for a bill to “clarify” the language of the NDAA, but these drafts contained little to nothing to actually nullify the detainment sections.
If Rehberg has no remorse over his support for the NDAA, and feels it holds no threat to the American people, why try to draft a state bill to clarify the U.S. citizen issue? According to Rehberg, the only reason was to silence Constitutionalists who had been pointing out his non-conservative, pro-statist behavior.
“Clarity”, is not his true concern at all. The irrationality of the defense of the NDAA continues to escalate amongst closet neo-cons. From Alinsky style diversions and accusations, to full-on denial in spite of the evidence, they refuse to admit the nature of the legislation. Why? Because it is indefensible.
I have merely covered some local examples of fake-conservatives I have witnessed first hand, but this is a strategy being used all over the country.
The incredible threat these people pose cannot be underestimated (in a follow up article, I will cover some examples of legitimate liberty candidates).
With Obama sending America into a death spiral, the obvious and natural reaction by many will be to look to the conservative dynamic to put things right. Sadly, most Americans do not know what real conservatism and limited government looks like anymore.
Frankly, any hobgoblin in a suit can claim he is a conservative nowadays, and then implement the same globalist, collectivist policies as the fake liberal before him.
As I have said many times in the past, you have to examine the actions of these representatives, not their rhetoric. What they say is meaningless. What they do, and have done in the past, is everything.
This election year, we MUST NOT play the old game of the “lesser of two evils”. The fact is, there is no such thing, and there never was.

Karl Rove predicts Romney loss to Obama
Anthony Martin

Republican strategist Karl Rove, who is considered the architect of George W. Bush's two successful campaigns for the White House, is predicting that Mitt Romney will have a difficult time beating Barack Obama in the general election in November.
According to Rove, the situation is so dire that if the election were held today, Obama would win handily.
Romney is the presumptive Republican nominee, although he does not yet have enough delegates to win.
Rove is known for his pinpoint accuracy in predicting how the states will vote in general elections. In 2008 he correctly predicted the election results in 48 out of 50 states.
In an interview with NewsMax yesterday, Rove states that if the election were held today, Obama would win 284 electoral votes compared to Romney's 157. A candidate must win at least 270 electoral votes to gain the presidency.
Although Rove admits that it is still early and the electoral map will change as the campaign progresses, his prediction is odd given his numerous statements on Fox News concerning the electability factor of various potential Republican nominees.
This reporter has personally heard Rove claim that Romney is one of the few in the field who has the ability to beat Barack Obama in November. He has also disparaged potential and former candidates such as Sarah Palin, claiming that they are unelectable.
The fact that Rove is now saying that Romney will have a difficult time coming up with the 270 electoral votes necessary to win is perplexing given his previous statements.
Further, Rove's assessment gives one pause to question the entire premise of the Republican leadership establishment that assumes conservatives are unelectable and liberal or moderate candidates are best equipped to win.
The leadership establishment has incessantly harped on the electability factor, claiming that only candidates such as Romney, Chris Christie, or Jeb Bush can garner enough support to beat Obama. Now that it appears Romney is sailing to the nomination, the public is being told a different story. Romney is in trouble.
This makes one wonder if the Republican leadership also misled voters on the electability of Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, Ron Paul, Newt Gingrich, and Herman Cain. The leadership establishment claimed that these candidates are unelectable.
Interestingly, the very same elitist political machine said the same thing about Ronald Reagan throughout the 1970s and even in the 1980 Republican race for the nomination. While the faces were different back then, the mindset of the machine was exactly the same.
Reagan was constantly bashed as being too conservative for the general public to stomach. George H.W. Bush, who was one of the candidates opposing Reagan in 1980, referred to the Reagan economic plan as "voodoo."
Yet it was Reagan who became the only Republican to beat two different Democrats in two of the largest landslides in U.S. history, in 1980 and 1984.
These factors are ample reason to question not only the wisdom but the motives of people like Rove.
This reporter would like to ask Rove the following question: Why are you now saying that Romney will struggle to beat Obama when only a few months ago you were claiming that he was one of the few who are electable?
A second question logically follows the first: Do you also think it's possible you were dead wrong about the electability of Palin, Bachmann, Paul, Gingrich, and Cain?

Hundredth monkey effect
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The hundredth monkey effect is a supposed phenomenon in which a learned behavior spreads instantaneously from one group of monkeys to all related monkeys once a critical number is reached. By generalization it means the instantaneous, spreading of an idea or ability to the remainder of a population once a certain portion of that population has heard of the new idea or learned the new ability by some unknown process currently beyond the scope of science.

Bigger Government in 2012: Romney $2.1 Trillion in Defense Spending, Obama $1.2
The Congressional Budget Office projects ObamaCare’s cost to be about $1.76 trillion. Most conservatives rightly recognize we can’t afford this.
President Obama’s current military spending is about $1.2 trillion.
Mitt Romney’s proposed plan calls for $2.1 trillion in military spending. Romney’s military budget alone dwarfs ObamaCare.
When Senator Rand Paul tried to introduce a budget that would balance the budget in five years, few Republicans stood with him, saying that it “cut” military spending. Sen. Paul’s plan actually called for a military budget the size of what we had in 2006, hardly a barebones fighting force.
When Ron Paul introduced his Restore America Now plan that cut $1 trillion in the first year, conservatives cheered. Paul’s plan even allowed for more military spending than George W. Bush did in 2006. Still, similar to their lack of support for Sen. Paul’s plan, many Republicans said Ron Paul was “cutting” military spending too deeply.
There are no “cuts” to military spending. There are only decreases in proposed increases. Republicans who say otherwise are using the same trick liberals use to say Republicans are “cutting” domestic spending. Our national debt should tell any American that our government has cut nothing in decades.
What’s worse, Romney’s willingness to dramatically increase military spending will be far more than $2.1 trillion.
Reports CNN:
Mitt Romney is campaigning on a platform that emphasizes less spending, smaller deficits and renewed fiscal responsibility.
But in one budget area, Romney is running the opposite direction. The former Massachusetts governor wants to increase defense spending by leaps and bounds. By one estimate, additional spending would exceed $2 trillion over the next decade…
Romney’s plan calls for linking the Pentagon’s base budget to Gross Domestic Product…
With the Pentagon’s base budget — which does not include war costs… The additional spending really piles up in future years.
“Does not include war costs?” Aren’t those kind of expensive?
If the courts overturn ObamaCare, which looks very likely, Americans are stuck with two presumed presidential candidates who will essentially spend an equal amount of money, thus racking up further deficits and debt.
Ron Paul has stressed time and again that to seriously tackle big government and debt we have to reduce both domestic and foreign spending. Paul’s Restore America Now plan allows for the strongest military force on earth, but within the confines of the Constitution and our budget.
Romney’s willingness to spend far more than our national deficit on just military alone does not bode well for anyone wanting to save this country from imminent bankruptcy.
Americans who now reject Obama also do not want to return to George W. Bush. Romney’s military budget alone spends more than Obama or Bush.

The Real GOP Delegate Map The Media Won’t Show You

Even after Ron Paul had massive victories over the weekend, the media is still lying about the Romney delegate count so here is the latest real map.
The corporate media still is running story after story claiming Romney has a massive lead and Paul has few delegates.
Simply put, as the table below shows, the media is counting non-binding caucuses and states with mixed primaries as wins and delegates for Romney column.
The problem is the non-binding caucuses don’t mean a thing. Those non-binding caucuses are just that non-binding and the real delegate selection for many of these states hasn’t even happened yet.
As we saw over the weekend, Romney got romped by Paul in 3 states that the media had counted as Romney states based on the results of these non-binding caucuses.
But guess what? The media is still not updating their falsely reported delegate counts and are instead sticking to the story that Romney is way out a head.
In reality, Ron Paul has won the 5 states (actually he is winning 11 states now) needed to secure a spot at the GOP national convention but you won’ see those 5 states listed as wins on any corporate media list of delegate counts.
But putting aside the deception they are using to manufacture consent for Romney, here is the real 2012 GOP delegate map as provide by a Ron Paul supporter.
http://cdn1.alexanderhiggins.com/wp-...May-7-2012.pngThe Real GOP Delegate Map May 7 2012
And here is a report from a real media outlet willing to tell the public the truth.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_HdZ1CSWYk&feature=player_embedded
Also Notice how the media is still counting states such as Maine, Nevada, and many more for Romney even though he has officially lost these states over the weekend when the real delegates were selected.
The latest update from Business Insider: Republicans Are Finally Getting Nervous About Ron Paul’s Secret Delegate Strategy
For several weeks I have been writing about Ron Paul’s upset victories at district and state GOP conventions, and about the surprising success of his delegate strategy. Now, with Paul’s delegate sweeps in Maine and Nevada, it looks like Mitt Romneyand the Republican Party are finally starting to catch on to the trend.Paul supporters swept this weekend’s state GOP conventions, picking up 21 of 24 RNC delegates in Maine and 22 out of 28 delegates in Nevada. The twin victories come on the heels of Paul’s surprise delegate wins at district caucuses and state conventions in Missouri, Minnesota, Colorado, and Louisiana, as well as a Paul-friendly takeover of the Alaska GOP.Paul supporters have managed to stage these state-level coups despite significant resistance from local Establishment Republicans, many of whom are predictably reluctant to relinquish their power to the insurgents. So far, however, the Paul campaign has attributed most of the Establishment’s “shenanigans” to local animosities. But there is growing evidence that the Romney camp — and the national GOP — are stepping up their efforts to prevent an embarrassing Ron Paul uprising on the floor of the Republican National Convention. In Maine, for example, the Romney campaign dispatched its top lawyer, Benjamin Ginsberg, to oversee the state convention proceedings this weekend. (It’s worth noting that Ginsberg is best known for his work for George W. Bush during the 2000 Florida recount.)Ginsberg’s presence didn’t stop the convention from descending into chaos, with both sides accusing the other of breaking party rules with phony ballots and illegal delegate votes. (The Kennebec Journal has a colorful account of the madness here.)
Ultimately, Paul supporters out-numbered and out-organized their Romney counterparts, winning the majority of the state’s RNC delegates, as well as both RNC Committee Chair posts and 34 out of 50 open spots on the state party committee. Romney supporters have pledged to mount a legal challenge to the results with the Republican National Committee.
In Nevada, the Paul sweep was largely expected — the Silver State has been a Ron Paul stronghold since the 2008 election, when the state GOP literally turned off the lights at their convention to avoid seating Ron Paul delegates to the national convention. Since then, Paul supporters have won elections to local and county GOP boards, and are now major players in state Republican politics.
“The Establishment is us now,” Ron Paul’s Nevada campaign director Carl Bunce told Business Insider before this weekend’s convention. “If we turn off the lights, we know where the light switch is.”
But Nevada’s Paul-friendly party Establishment didn’t stop the Republican National Committee from trying to stop Paul’s acolytes from completing their takeover this weekend. In a letter obtained by the Las Vegas Sun last week, the RNC’s lawyer warned that the national party could unseat Nevada’s convention delegation in Tampa if the state party elected too many Ron Paul supporters as delegates.
Romney is also apparently keen not to avoid a second embarrassment in Iowa, a state where Paul continues to make significant inroads. At the Republican National Committee summit in Phoenix last month, Romney aides tried to force Iowa’s three-person RNC delegation to sign a “loyalty pledge” promising to vote for Romney at the national convention. Iowa GOP Chair AJ Spiker, a former state director for the Paul campaign, told Business Insider that the Romney camp backed down after he and the two Iowa RNC chairs refused to sign the pledge.
Privately, sources close to the Ron Paul campaign say they believe Republicans will continue to ramp up his efforts to block Paul delegates at state conventions, particularly after Romney’s embarrassing delegate losses in Massachusetts. But state organizers tell Business Insider that Paul supporters are significantly more organized than Romney’s delegate team, and are ready to put up a tough fight in states like Idaho and Washington.

How The Media Falsely reports 2012 Republican Delegates
1) Non-binding caucuses are being scored for Romney. It’s a lie. Non-Binding caucuses are just that – non-binding which means they are not Romney’s delegates
2) It was previously confirmed that Paul won at 5 states and is heading to the GOP national convention, and now he has the majority of delegates in 11 states.
Yet the following list from Real Clear Politics which is basically the same lie being echoed elsewhere in the media show Ron Paul only winning 1 state and only 93 delegates. There math clearly doesn’t add up.

The sleeping bear has been awakened! Let us steel ourselves for the attack

Ron Paul 2012
Quite clearly the media has been shocked, shamed, and horrified by what is going on in the delegate selection process. They ignored and slept through all of the massive ralleys..... they didn't listen or understand what this "delegate thing" was all about in all of the numerous interviews .... and now that it is happening they are trying to play "catch up" so they don't look like TOTAL idiots. (I mean they have to at least TRY to look like a news media) They are smiling and joking and acting like "isn't this just so amazing and fun", as they try to NOT appear like the complete failures that they are as "journalists".
However, be prepared. Once they get their second wind, and their "instructions from above" they are going to come out with fangs and claws drawn and start ranting about how the Ron Paul people are going to be "handing the election to Obama".
If the RP people keep winning in these caucuses things are going to get really ugly. Your "friends and relatives" who know absolutely nothing but their hatred for Obama are going to get REALLY, REALLY ANGRY with you for supporting "Paul the spoiler". WE, the Ron Paul troops are going to be accused of "stealing" "manipulating", "overtaking" the process. We will be called TRAITORS to the United States if we don't get behind Romney. (even moreso than now). ALL of this negative propaganda will be the backdrop for the dirty tricks that they will JUSTIFY at the national convention. And your "friends and family" will AGREE with bending the rules in order to get this "traitor" out of the way.
The opening bell will ring when RUSH goes on a tirade about it. At the moment he is still ignoring Paul. When he goes into one of his wild eyed rants, then we will know that the instructions have come down from above, and the real war has begun!
Just a warning so that we don't get surprised and shaken.
What we must do is JUST KEEP CALMLY MOVING FORWARD in our efforts to get Paul elected, and in taking over the GOP. We must stay calm, focused and determined. We must not get into fistfights, shouting matches, name calling, or worse, fall into despair. Just keep moving forward.
Fortunately, Ron Paul supporters are not going to vote for anyone just to get the party elected, so we won't be LOSING people. But they don't understand that and they will do ANYTHING to hold onto the reins of power. IF WE KNOW THIS NOW, maybe we can avoid the days and days of "shocked" and "horrified" reactions to the terrible stories that are going to be released about us.
They think that the fear of "what others think" or being "different" is what motivates us just as it motivates them. They think that the fear of LOSING will overpower us, just as it overpowers them. Our strength is that they haven't a clue what motivates us!
WE ARE RON PAUL. WE ARE THE REVOLUTION. WE ARE WINNING HEARTS AND MINDS FOR THE FUTURE.
So when the proverbial s^%t hits the fan, PLEASE PEOPLE,
Just keep moving forward..... and DONATE to keep Ron Paul moving too!

Ron Paul 2012
To the Establishment...Sorry...but, you've lost.
What's pathetic is...we told you this would happen. We told you our strategy & you just laughed it off as if it wouldn't happen. You FOOLS...we don't call this The rEVOLution for nothing! Now that you've finally noticed our movement it's too late. The movement has already spread too far. The pieces are already in place. You CAN NOT STOP US.
Our delegate strategy has worked in every single state and it will continue to do so all the way to Tampa. Mitt Romney will never have the delegates needed to win the nomination. At the Republican National Convention WE WILL nominate Ron Paul to represent the Republican Party in 2012.
Now that you realize you've been defeated, you are now claiming we are "hijacking" the party...but in actuality, we are simply "reclaiming" OUR party. You evil bastards are the ones who "hijacked" this party a LONG time ago with your Neo-Con policies! Your removal has been long overdue! WE are restoring the core Republican principles to the Republican party. The very principles you despise...but yet, have the nerve to call yourself "Republican" and "conservative". The rEVOLution represents TRUE Republicanism...real conservatism (both home & abroad), limited government, civil liberties...the very principles that you have systematically removed from our party.
The Republican National Convention in Tampa will be the rebirth of the Republican party. We are now officially the Party of Paul. Deal with it.

Current Events
Sorry if this was posted before but I checked and didn't see it if it was.
“Romney’s finished,” Savage told his “Savage Nation” audience yesterday. “He’s a fall guy. I’m the only one in the media who told you.”
Savage said Romney was “being misdirected by the very same people who misdirected McCain – who should have won the last election.”
“McCain said, ‘No, I won’t go there, I won’t do that,’ and lost the election.”
“I can only conclude Romney doesn’t even understand what he’s doing, or Romney is a straight-out fall guy for the Republican establishment, offered a huge payout at the end of the term in the form of contracts, books, lecture tours or whatever,” Savage said.

Michael Savage: Romney following McCain's losing strategy
GOP's 2008 nominee was unwilling to confront Obama on character
Published: 2 days ago
The political gurus who advised Mitt Romney to condemn a plan by a “super PAC” to use Barack Obama’s influential relationship with the Rev. Jeremiah Wright against him in the 2012 campaign will lead the presumed Republican nominee to the same fate as John McCain four years ago, said talk-radio host Michael Savage.
Republicans in 2008 naturally voted for McCain, Savage explained, but the independents who decided the election “did not come out for him, because he was nothing but a two-faced RINO,” a Republican In Name Only.
“I can only conclude Romney doesn’t even understand what he’s doing, or Romney is a straight-out fall guy for the Republican establishment, offered a huge payout at the end of the term in the form of contracts, books, lecture tours or whatever,” Savage said.
In an interview with Townhall.com, Romney said, “I repudiate the effort by that PAC to promote an ad strategy of the nature they’ve described.”
Romney said he wants his campaign to “focus on the economy, on getting people back to work, on seeing rising incomes and growing prosperity – particularly for those in the middle class of America.”
McCain told Fox News four years ago that he didn’t believe Obama should be held accountable for the things that Wright said from the pulpit.
But Obama once counted Wright as his chief spiritual adviser, the man who led him to Christian faith, married him and his wife and baptized his family. Obama, who attended Wright’s church for two decades, insisted he never heard the pastor spew the anti-American, anti-white venom now well-known through video clips of sermons played on news shows and posted on the Internet during the 2008 campaign.
But Wright’s adherence to the Marxist-based Black Liberation Theology that animates his preaching is well documented, and it’s implausible that the published clips were anomalies.
Middle-of-the-road advisers
As WND reported, Savage warned in March that Romney will lose in November if he is unwilling to strongly confront President Obama.
Savage took advantage of an interview with Donald Trump, who was campaigning for Romney, to send a message to the former Massachusetts governor.
“If there’s anything I can implore you, beg you even, to tell him, he’s got to understand that if he listens to those middle-of-the-road advisers the way McCain did, he’s going to go by the way of McCain,” Savage told the celebrity real estate magnate.
Savage pointed to Romney’s indication in an interview the previous day with CNBC that, unlike his Republican opponents for the nomination, he would not attack Obama.
Romney said the nation needs “to come together to recognize that even though we have differing views about the country and about where we should go, we all love the country.”
“I’m not going to say outrageous things about the president or about my opponents,” the former governor emphasized.
Trump insisted that Romney will be tough on Obama.
“I believe he will be very, very strong and very tough, and he’ll be very much opposed to what’s happening with this president,” Trump said.
Savage, pointing to issues such as the $500 million administration loan to the failing Solyndra “green energy” company, asked whether Romney would address “the gross corruption that we the people see on a daily basis.”
“I think he will be very, very strong,” Trump replied.
After the interview, Savage told a caller, however, that Romney says “nothing about so many of the issues that plague us today.”
“Mitt Romney speaks in platitudes,” Savage said. “He speaks in platitudes like a kid running for the presidency of a high school class.”
Savage said Romney needs to heed the wisdom of the late Republican senator and presidential candidate Barry Goldwater, who famously said “extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice” and “moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue.”
“He has to get visceral, he has to get specific, and he has to be more extreme in the defense of liberty,” Savage said of Romney.
Savage later explained that Romney “doesn’t have to get mean and nasty and get insulting.”
“He just has to talk about the corruption and graft and greed,” Savage said.
The talk host read a line from his bestselling book “Trickle Down Tyranny” to underscore the stakes in the November election.
Savage prefaced it as “advice to the next president”: “Economies can be rebuilt, armies can be repopulated, but once a nation’s pride is gone, it can almost never be restored.”
“The Savage Nation” airs live Monday through Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern. It can be heard online through stations such as KSTE in Sacramento.

Ron Paul 2012
Yes, I know it sounds strange, but we owe Bill O'Reilly and Fox News a large thank you for considering us a fringe movement that has no chance of winning or even changing the Republican party.
You did the Paul movement a great service by ignoring it, Bill.
By doing such, most Romney supporters grew complacent and didn't see us coming from all flanks.
Of course, the best way to attack the enemy is to catch him when he's sleeping.
I suspect O'Reilly and his ilk will enter full panic mode soon if our win streak continues, but it's too late.
Even Rupert Murdoch is smart enough to tweet compliments to Ron Paul recently.
Perhaps Hannity's show will finally get cancelled and be replaced with Judge Napolitano.
This might be disheartening to many since it takes a lot of talent to to find something offensive Bill Maher said and respond to it for endless hours, but even Fox viewers will probably grow tired of that crap over time.

Evidence points to FBI once again foiling their own terror plot, this time nabbing 3 Black Bloc activists planning to protest at the NATO summit in Chicago.
Law enforcement officials in Chicago admitted today they infiltrated and planted one of their own agents among a ring of activists they accuse of planning to conduct terrorist attacks on the NATO summit in Chicago, according to the Chicago Tribune (who’s article is an almost complete reprint of the Illinois State Prosecutor’s press release).

According to official documents, the group was under ‘covert surveillance’ during which an inside operative wearing a recorded three Black Bloc anarchists plotting to conduct terrorist attacks on several targets in Chicago.
Law enforcement officials allege that while monitoring the bug the three anarchists while began making Molotov Cocktails and immediately alerted special prosecutors who were part of the covert operation.
Soon after, the prosecutors obtained a no-knock search warrant and raided the activists house with the assistance of the FBI and the U.S. secret service...

Even Paul has said he will no longer campaign in states that have yet to hold their primaries. And Paul has always been considered a long shot to win. But that hasn't deterred many of his hard-core supporters, including the Silicon Valley billionaire who has bankrolled the superPAC backing Paul.
Peter Thiel is a venture capitalist, entrepreneur and co-founder of PayPal. He hit the jackpot again when he gave Mark Zuckerberg the money to launch Facebook.
Thiel's half-million dollar Facebook investment is now worth more than $1 billion. His success and his smarts have made him a virtual rock star in Silicon Valley.
A Contrarian View
On a recent day at Stanford University, the lecture hall is full long before Thiel saunters in — light blue business suit, open collar, a Diet Coke in his hand, his eyes shifting nervously as he scans the crowd of mostly adoring undergraduates. He's come to argue a contrarian view: that technological progress is decelerating.
"Whether we look at transportation, energy, commodity production, food production, agro-tech, nanotechnology — that with the exception of computers, we've had tremendous slowdown," he says.
Thiel acknowledges that computers are getting faster, cheaper and better. But he says that's the virtual world of bits and bytes. In the real world of stuff, Thiel insists, there's been a slowdown.
"I believe we are in a world where innovation in stuff was outlawed. It was basically outlawed in the last 40 years — part of it was environmentalism, part of it was risk aversion," he says. "And all the engineering disciplines that had to do with stuff have basically been outlawed one by one."
In other words, he says government regulation stifles innovation and, without innovation, there is no economic growth.
Encouraging Entrepreneurs
In technology circles, Thiel's libertarian views are well known.
As a law student in the 1980s, Thiel co-founded the conservative Stanford Review, and he co-wrote a book critical of political correctness and multiculturalism on that campus.
In more recent years, he's argued that higher education is failing America and that some of the brightest students are probably better off not going to college at all.
That's why he created the 20 Under 20 Thiel Fellowships — a program that gives promising young entrepreneurs $100,000 to skip college for two years and create their own business, as he explained on All Things Considered last year.
"I think anything that requires real global breakthroughs requires a degree of intensity and sustained effort that cannot be done part time, so it's something you have to do around the clock, and that doesn't compute with our existing educational system," Thiel said. "Had the people who started Facebook decided to stay at Harvard, they would not have been able to build the company, and by the time they graduated in 2006, that window probably would have come and gone."
Betting On The Future
As a conservative, Thiel has donated money to a variety of Republican lawmakers. He's also Christian and gay, and he's a major donor to GOProud, a gay conservative group based in Washington, D.C.
Thiel's contribution of more than $2.5 million to the Endorse Liberty superPAC, which supports Paul, makes him the fund's largest donor — in spite of the fact that the two men have never met or communicated in any way.
Thiel declined to comment for this report. But his spokesman, Jim O'Neill, says Thiel believes Paul is the best candidate to beat President Obama.
"There's a great opportunity to reach out to people who are concerned about civil liberties on the left, people who are concerned about deficits in the middle, people who are concerned about taxation on the right, people who are opposed to bailouts and bubbles," O'Neill says. "And so I think Paul would do really well against Obama."
If that sounds like a long shot, keep this in mind: That's exactly what Thiel invests in. He's given money to a variety of long-term projects, from anti-aging research to "seasteading" — an effort to build communities on platforms in international waters. And he has said his support for Paul is the best bet for now to encourage a libertarian movement.

Barack Obama Is The First United Nations President

May 19, 2012
“In our globalist existence, the authority for the US to initiate hostilities against another country comes from the UN, declared Obama and Panetta. If the executive branch can persuade or bribe the UN to give a war OK, Congress is no longer relevant.” – Paul Craig Roberts, “Are Americans Catching On, Waking Up, Unplugging?” President Barack Obama has continued the secret policy of destroying the sovereignty and wealth of the United States to the benefit of the private transnational interests who control the United Nations, the CIA, Wall Street, and the global banking system.
Numerous American presidents, both Republican and Democrat, are on board with this treasonous political agenda.
Obama is not an “American” president; he is a United Nations president.
The criminal international banksters and secret societies behind the creation of the United Nations, and the Barack Obama icon, use fraud, usury, debt, terror, deception, propaganda, false flags, and war to get what they want out of countries. They treat all countries like third world colonies, including America. The people are plundered and destroyed, while the criminal elite are protected.
The election of Obama represents a massive constitutional crisis in America because he was born in Kenya, and is thus illegally holding the office of the presidency. He is the presidential equivalent of an illegal alien. It is hard to believe this is true because it is pretty wild. But no intellectually honest person can ignore the evidence and defend Obama’s claim that he was born in America. It is illogical to deny the facts and stick to illusions.
The significance of Obama’s true birthplace is monumental. The entire American experiment is being put into question. The U.S. Constitution has been thrown out.
America is fully controlled by genocidal war criminals who teach young and impressionable soldiers that wiping out Islam and using nukes on Middle Eastern cities is a military solution to end the mythic “clash of civilizations,” between the West and Islam.
Obama, far from being a secret Muslim, is actually a secret CIA agent who likes the idea of attacking Iran as much as any Neocon, Israeli, and fascist. Obama is not a peacemaker or a saint. Like the mad king of Israel, Obama is a mad psychopath who lies for a living. He worships the god of war because only war can unleash the forces of violent change and political transformation.
Obama and his masters are secretly working to cause the destruction of America, along with Israel, Iran, and other nations in the Middle East. Obama does not desire peace with Iran, but an epic and total war that will culminate in the establishment of a world authoritarian state with U.S. military power to back it up.
In September 2009, Obama became, “the first-ever U.S. president to chair the United Nations’ 15-member Security Council,” (Source: NBC Chicago). That was only the beginning. Obama is probably being primed to be the first United Nations president, since he is obviously not a legitimate and legal American president.
The fraudulent elections of Bush and Obama signaled the destruction of America.
Bush’s elections were fraudulent because they were stolen, and Obama’s election was fraudulent because he was born in Kenya, not America.
Both the American presidency and the Congress have been destroyed. These institutions are dead. The plan of the globalist fascists is to completely destroy America as an independent political unit with its own national constitution and destiny.
The 1913 Federal Reserve Act destroyed America’s financial independence, so the subversion and destruction of America from within has been a century-long effort by the Anglo-American oligarchy.
Secrecy, totalitarian deception, and terrorism are their three main weapons. The treasonous American media has been their biggest ally in their silent war on the American Constitution and the American people.
Infowars.com points out that Obama was a British subject at the time of his birth. I guess this is the British Empire’s way of getting back at the rebellious American people for defeating the British army in the 18th century and creating a free and independent government.
But Obama is more than a joke. Obama is like a political virus who is attacking the U.S. national nervous system and destabilizing the natural defenses of the body politic. Obama kills silently, in the night, when everybody is asleep and dreaming.
Since he came into office, Obama has done nothing to better the lives of the American people and improve the American nation. Even if he wanted to help the American people and make America better, he would be stopped by his masters because, as Alex Jones says in this video, he is compromised.
Obama is blackmailable from head to toe. The enemies of America, both foreign (Israel) and domestic (Wall Street banksters, criminal multinational corporations, political opponents), love the fact that Obama is in the White House.
The mythic fairytale about the Osama Bin Laden killing was intended to make the public believe that Obama is in charge and he is a great war leader. But Obama takes orders, he doesn’t give them. There would be no difference if a slave or a robot was in the White House instead of Obama. Obama is worse than a robot and a slave. He is a psychopathic liar and killer who loves death and destruction.

Paul supporters nearly sweep all national delegate slots

Supporters of Texas Congressman Ron Paul have picked up all but five of the elected Minnesota delegate slots to the national Republican convention.
In a stark rejection of presumed nominee Mitt Romney, Republicans at their state convention picked 12 Paul supporters for 13 spots. Earlier, Paul backers claimed 20 of 24 delegates selected at local conventions.
U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, whose name appeared on a Romney slate Saturday, did not initially get enough votes to join the Republicans going to Tampa. She only avoided a run-off election when a Paul supporter ceded to her.
The victory is the result of years of quiet organizing that has transformed the party.
Although the Paul backers say they want him represented in Tampa, with hopes to win Paul a speaking slot, they said they would work for Romney's election should he become the nominee.

The MSM Delegate Count for Romney. May 22nd primaries in Kentucky & Arkansas.
Submitted by ArsenalGunners11 on Sun, 05/20/2012 - 14:57
Daily Paul Liberty Forum
Just wanted to point out that back at some point in early April, I had taken the number of delegates that the MSM was touting Romney as having.
I believe at the time, that it figured out, that if Romney won every State Convention & Primary along the way, that after Tuesday, May 22nd, Romney could have over 1,144 delegates.
Sure enough: Here is CNN's version:
2012 Republican Scorecard - Primaries - 2012 Election Center - Elections & Politics from CNN.com
2012 Primary Schedule « 2012 Election Central
961 + 81 = 1,042 (Will most likely be their tally on Tuesday after Kentucky & Arkansas.) I have to say that I am now even happier to know that Ron Paul did campaign in Texas & California. I know... I know... State Conventions are usually where it's at for delegates, but wouldn't it be something for Ron Paul to win Texas & California primaries too?
So, even to the MSM now, things appear to have changed a bit. Of course, this is just CNN's version. The beautiful thing is that NOBODY knows still.
Please note: I KNOW that he does not have 1,144, Romney himself probably knows that he doesn't have 1,144, but I say this to just be prepared for the MSM Delegate count after Tuesday. I believe it will get very interesting to see how the MSM spins their delegate count, and what they'll have to say in regards to Ron Paul still being in the race.

The Facts About Bain And KB Toys, Much Worse Than ‘Vulture’ Capitalism
Posted on February 13, 2012 by Gekko
http://www.moneytrendsresearch.com/w...c9f5f6df11.jpg There is good private equity and there is bad private equity firms.
My company at the time tried to find a partner in the 1990s and I was impressed by some of the people we talked with. They look at 100 companies pare it down to 10 and recommend one.
Here are the facts about KB Toys.
1. At the time it was purchased KB Toys was an industry leader, it was not in trouble. KB Toys -- Company History
In 1999, KBkids.com received top points from an e-commerce market research firm, the Gomez Advisors, in the categories of customer confidence, overall cost, and bargain shopping. Softletter named the site one of the ‘Ten Best Online Software Stores of 1999′ in its October 15th issue. Even the Wall Street Journal dubbed the site the ‘best overall’ online toy retailer. In a little more than four months online, KBkids.com increased its business more than 400 percent and twice ranked among the five biggest gainers on the NextCard eCommerce Movers index. It seemed nothing could stop KB Toys from challenging its rivals in the toy industry. Operating profit for 1999 was up 51 percent from 1998. The company, seeking to capitalize on its growth, decided to hold an initial public offering in the spring of 2000, then postponed trading due to unfavorable market conditions. Notwithstanding this delay, KB was more focused than ever on fine-tuning its position in the very fashion-forward toy industry. With relatively small stores and a knack for innovation and creativity in marketing, KB was ready as ever to make quick adjustments to changing customer and merchandise trends.
2. KB Toys was a company that made money and exercised social responsibility
After a 13 year old boy in NYC was shot and killed while holding a realistic toy gun (not from KB Toys) KB Toys destroyed 300,000 toys in inventory and never again carried realistic toy guns. They also gave toys for guns.
The company also participated in New York’s ‘Goods for Guns’ program, which offered gift certificates to people who surrendered real firearms. Although Ann Iverson left as chairman in 1994, her policy of not selling look-alike guns was continued by her successor, Alan Fine, who had been senior vice-president before becoming president and CEO.
3. Bain Capital ‘purchased’ KB for the respectable price of $ 305 million dollars on December 8, 2000. KB Toys - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
4. Bain Capital only offered $ 18 million in cash, the rest was leaveraged debt put on the company.
5. “Sixteen months after the buyout, Bain Capital paid itself $85 million in dividends in early 2002.”
6. “January 14, 2004, K·B Toys filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and closed 365 stores.”
7. Three years later the rest of the 156 stores were closed down.
But there is a little more to the story. KB Stores had already gone through a tough restructuring in 1996. At that time a private equity bought the company, closed unprofitable stores, and increased profits.
So here is the objective reality of what Bain did.
Bain engineered a private equity purchase of a profitable company that had already gone through ‘creative destruction’ eliminating unprofitable legacy operations and saddled the company with hundreds of millions of dollars of debt. The company was not just profitable but an example of the kind of companies that demonstrate a wider social conscious for its customers and the larger community. Sixteen months after purchasing the company with only 6% cash of the value Bain takes out dividends at over 400% of their investment.
Significantly this was done during the time of the attacks on 9/11 when the country as a whole was undergoing a hightened sense of patriotism, sacrifice and social duty. Less than 2 years after saddling KB Toys with massive debt and taking out astronomical dividends, K-B Toys faces Chapter 11 bankruptcy and closes 354 previously profitable stores.
Vultures take meat that is already dead and complete the final loop in the cycle of life.
Bain took a company that had already been restructured and was surging in profits and cash. There was never any interest by Bain to restructure KB Toys, that had already been done.
Bain purchased KB Toys simply to raid its cash, and they did so during a time when the rest of the country was undergoing a period of reviewing the founding principles of the country.
To call what Bain did to KB Toys as ‘Vulture’ Capitalism is an insult to Vultures.
They were pirates and this is why there is so much interest to change the subject and not let the real facts of Bain Capital come to the surface during the Republican Primary.
