Ron Paul Revere: The fascists are coming!
http://grrrgraphics.files.wordpress....revere_rgb.jpg
Ron Paul may not win the election (it has been rigged against him), but we hope he stays in the race to communicate messages the MSM are ignoring. That is, the country has been taken over by global banks, multi-national corporations and the military-industrial complex that Eisenhower warned us about. Ron Paul has raised awareness of the Federal Reserve and the fascist system it has produced. Corrupt money and politicians have destroyed the Republic.
Wealth and power have been concentrated into the hands of a global elite.
Some may say it’s a conspiracy theory, but fascism is already here. Like Nazi Germany, we can be stopped without reason and we must produce papers. We are groped, fried and searched without probable cause. The 4th Amendment is all but dead. They are going after freedom of speech next. Then the guns. We must not willingly give them up.
Ron Paul is a modern-day Paul Revere. He has been warning us for years that fascism was coming. Now it’s here. Many Americans are waking up, but many more need to realize how valuable freedom is and how important it is for everyone to pitch in and help save the Constitution while we can.
I have received many excellent cartoon ideas from GrrrGraphics readers. This suggestion came from Andrew. I have others that I am considering, but I don’t have time to draw them all. One of the best suggestions I’ve had is to create cartoons that show solutions. This is more difficult–it’s easier to portray problems and wrong-doings. It’s one of the reasons why Dante’s “Inferno” is more popular to read than his “Paradiso.” Still, I am giving it thought. These are serious times and I’ve never been good at drawing cartoons that are cheap gags. I’m not a comedian and cartoons do NOT have to be funny to be effective.

Ron Paul’s Baby Boom
The Politico’s Alex Isenstadt has some observations on how Ron Paul has inspired others to run for office in his piece “Ron Paul’s Baby Boom:”
There’s no exact way of measuring how many Paul-inspired candidates are running this year. But Jared Paine, a Paul supporter who operates a website that tracks the campaigns of libertarian-minded candidates, said he counted around two dozen active Paul backers who are running for House or Senate seats and another 200 or so who are seeking local offices — almost all of them running as Republicans.
It’s a measure of the depth of the passion Paul inspires from his supporters, which is marked by a ferocity and commitment to the cause that few other pols can command…
To hear those aligned with the GOP presidential candidate tell it, the proliferation of Paul-affiliated candidates underscores a simple truth: Paul, once regarded as a fringe candidate, has gone mainstream. Despite the fact that he has announced he is not running for reelection to Congress, his ideas have established him as an important figure in American politics.
I would add that his ideas have established Ron Paul as THE MOST important figure in American politics. Both parties continue to field establishment candidates who do not represent any departure from the status quo. Seriously–what is President Obama doing, or what will he do, that is different from what a President Hillary Clinton or John Kerry would have done? What separates Romney, Santorum and Gingrich apart in any substantive manner from what George W. Bush represented? How different, really, are Bush and Obama?
Only Ron Paul represents a markedly different direction in American politics and this is precisely what continues to make him the most important figure on the national stage.

Ron Paul Leaves Others “In the Dust” in Military Donations
Writes Hope Hodge at Human Events:
It’s no secret that those employed by the armed forces have been leaning in favor of someone considered something of a political outlier: Ron Paul.
Now, a review by Human Events of the latest campaign donation reports shows that financial support from that sector has intensified to such a degree that Paul has left the other candidates, as well as President Barack Obama, in the dust…
As of Sept. 30, 2011, Paul had received $95,567 from members of the military, edging out President Barack Obama’s $72,616, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. By Feb. 29, that lead had more than doubled to $315,109 compared to Obama’s $148,308.
The closest runner-up to Paul in the Republican race is Romney, who reported $13,300 in military-related donations as of Sept. 30, and $36,108 from those employed by the military as of Feb. 29.
In contrast, Paul received more than $220,000 from military donors from October to February…

Dear XXXXXXX,
If the establishment had its way, there would only be one Republican left in this race – and the National Convention would just be a massive rally for Mitt Romney.
There would be no talk about individual liberty. No mention of trillion-dollar deficits, real spending cuts, and the out-of-control Federal Reserve.
And there would be no questioning the cost of utopian nation-building schemes or policing the world.
But thanks to your hard work and dedication to the cause of liberty, the establishment isn’t getting its way.
Not this time.
I’m planning to take my campaign to Restore America NOW all the way to Tampa, Florida, for the Republican National Convention.
But to do so, my campaign must have the funds to continue picking up delegates all across the country.
So can I count on you to help me fight all the way to the National Convention by pledging to make a generous contribution to my campaign’s Money Bomb on April 15?
So far, my campaign’s delegate strategy has paid off.
Dedicated supporters of mine have been turning out at their local caucuses and conventions to run as delegates to their Congressional District or State Conventions – where National Delegates will be elected.
It’s these delegates who will choose the Republican nominee at the National Convention in August.
That’s why it’s absolutely crucial my campaign has the funds to continue organizing and winning delegates in many states around the country.
And there are also important primaries in Texas and California coming up where hundreds of delegates will be up for grabs.
That’s why I’m counting on you to pledge to contribute to my campaign’s Money Bomb on April 15.
You and I have fought tooth and nail against the establishment for nearly an entire year now.
And the most important battles are happening right now.
So please, help me take my campaign to Restore America NOW to the Republican National Convention by pledging to make a generous contribution to my upcoming April 15 Money Bomb.
Let’s take our fight all the way to Tampa.
For Liberty,

P.S. My campaign is holding a Money Bomb on April 15.
With the Republican National Convention fast approaching, my campaign must have the funds to continue winning delegates in many states all over the country.
So please pledge to contribute to my Money Bomb on April 15 to help me take our fight all the way to Tampa!

Tuesday, April 10, 2012 by: NaturalNews
(NaturalNews) Ron Paul makes a groundbreaking admission to the public on tape - that the FDA and Big Pharma are indeed "in bed together," both building up their monopolies and only interested in making more money. The Republican presidential candidate confirms that the corrupt corporations are running the show, that the FDA is doing more harm than good and many other eye-opening admittances.
Watch the video yourself at: Ron Paul: The FDA and drug companies are in bed together - Mar 2012 - NaturalNews.tv
Ron Paul: It never works that way. You know, your safety and your drugs, for instance, it sounds like a reasonable thing. You want safety in your drugs. But the FDA and the drug companies are in bed together and they squeeze out competitions and build up their monopolies and they love government medicine because they make more money. The insurance companies and the drug companies, whether it's Democrats or Republicans reforming the medical care system, these corporations run the show. You know, they support it, it's because the government doesn't take it over. It's the corporations that end up taking over. So, it's well intended but I think it always backfires on us and that the people we're wanting to regulate end up writing their own regulations.
Reporter: So in that particular case would the reasonable alternative being no FDA?
Ron Paul: I think so because, I don't think, I think they've done more harm than good because sometimes it might take them 25 years to allow a good drug to come onto the marketplace and the rules and regulations inhibits the options of the physician to use drugs for anything other than not approved by the FDA, which means it slows up research and the cost goes up and then when it's approved by the FDA, guess what happens? If you're on the inside track of that- I'm the FDA- today I approve this drug, tomorrow, their drug company's value, their stock goes up fifty fold. Just because a bureaucrat made this decision. So, it's a protection of the corporation is basically what it is. People weren't dying from bad drugs before we had the FDA. I mean, it just didn't happen. There'd be other agencies that would do this. There'd be no reason to assume that all of a sudden, the drug companies have it in their interest to give you a bad drug.
Reporter: Well, I'm not sure what fits in there and it's hard to prove a negative, but are you assuming that there are no bad drugs
Ron Paul: There's plenty of bad drugs, and the FDA's permitted a lot of them to get on the market, too. I mean bad drugs on the market now. Did you ever see a PDR? They're about that big and about half of them are useless. But if it's FDA approved- and what does the FDA do when it comes to alternative or natural products? The FDA and the drug industry keeps them off the market. A natural drug product, alternative health care, freedom of choice, it is obstructed from those making those free choices. So it's there to protect the drug industry. They very often do exactly the opposite. I believe in free choice on picking alternative care rather than having it licensed through the FDA and these drug approvals. It delays, it costs so many- this is one reason why drug costs are so high, because it goes through years and years and years of litigation and getting approval, and that's a source of making drug costs much higher in cost.
Reporter: So how did we get to this mess? Let's just stick with FDA or go with Nuclear Regulatory Commission, but how is it that this body of burdensome regulations was allowed to develop? Is it parts of the private sector finding ways to protect themselves or what?
Ron Paul: I don't know, I haven't done a detailed history of exactly this but my assumption would be that it'd be a lot of well noted people saying, well, we need these regulations to help the people and protect the people. But those individuals and the companies that are involved immediately leap to it and take over and find out how they can keep out their competition. What industry it is, whether it's the housing industry, housing insurance, it's always to squeeze the little guy out and protect the big industries. Competition serves the competitor who is trying to compete with big industry, and I don't like to see government protecting big industries and big corporations.

Ron Paul Hits Home State's Airwaves
(CNN) – The GOP nomination may appear to be in Mitt Romney's reach, but Texas Rep. Ron Paul isn't leaving the race without knocking his rivals at least one more time.
In a new 30-second ad set to begin airing on cable in Texas Tuesday, Paul hits Romney, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich as collectively unfit to go up against President Barack Obama in November's general election.
– Follow the Ticker on Twitter: @PoliticalTicker
The ad, called "Vote Texas," begins with an announcer laying out the options for Republicans: "Let's get this straight. We're debating between a big spending, debt ceiling raising fiscal liberal, a moon colony guy, a moderate from Massachusetts or a Texan with a real plan to balance the budget."
The slam against Gingrich – that he's the "moon colony guy" – comes with a "Photoshopped" image of the former House speaker in a space suit, floating around the moon.
The announcer continues, pushing Paul's platform of reigning in spending and slashing the federal debt.
"Get with it people, only one candidate will stand up for Texas. Ron Paul isn't playing games. Five federal bureaucracies gone. A trillion dollars cut, year one. Get Washington off your back," the announcer says before labeling the candidate a "big, bold Texan."

Campaign ad hails Ron Paul as 'big bold Texan'
By Catalina Camia, USA TODAY

Ron Paul begins a three-day campaign swing today in his home state of Texas, armed with a new TV ad that cracks a whip at his GOP presidential rivals.
http://i.usatoday.net/communitymanag...-community.jpg GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul is a Texas congressman.
CAPTION
The whip-cracking sound comes at the end of the spot that assails Paul's opponents as "a big-spending, debt-ceiling-raising fiscal liberal" (Rick Santorum), "the moon colony guy" (Newt Gingrich) and "a moderate from Massachusetts" (Mitt Romney).
INTERACTIVE: Political ad tracker
After briefly showing an Etch A Sketch to denote that the Texas congressman "isn't playing games," the ad proclaims Paul as a "big bold Texan" with a plan to cut five Cabinet departments and $1 trillion from the federal budget.
The Texas primary isn't until May 29 and Paul is bringing up the rear when it comes to delegates needed for the Republican nomination. But he attracts enthusiastic crowds on the campaign trail, largely populated by college students and those who believe in his anti-war, small government message.
Paul, who has said he is not seeking re-election to his congressional seat, holds a town hall meeting tonight at Texas A & M University in College Station, before heading to Fort Worth tomorrow and San Antonio on Thursday.
Paul has also launched an "in it to win it" money bomb, with a goal of raising $2 million on April 15. The Houston Chronicle reports Paul will also hold fundraisers in Dallas and San Antonio.
