Ron Paul 2012
This is an important story.
Any bets on whether the RNC bends the rules for Florida and seats the rest? Any bets on whether Ron Paul's recent successes have something to do with this effort to do an end run around the rules?
I wonder what Dr. Paul's campaign has in mind for strategy on this issue.
Cheaters.
I don't think I would even want them to recapture the delegates if they were all Paul people.
It is a matter of integrity of the election process. But integrity does not seem to matter to power pawns.
What can be done about this?

Ron Paul 2012
From the Washington Post:
Joseph Kony hunt is proving difficult for U.S. troops
By Craig Whitlock, Published: April 29
"...OBO, Central African Republic — Six months after President Obama ordered 100 elite troops to help capture the messianic warlord Joseph Kony, U.S. military commanders said Sunday that they have been unable to pick up his trail but believe he is hiding in this country’s dense jungle, relying on Stone Age tactics to dodge his pursuers’ high-tech surveillance tools...."
“They’re on the run,” Capt. Kenneth S. Wright, a Navy SEAL who leads the overall U.S. search effort, said last week. “This is not going to be an easy slog. Knock wood, maybe we get lucky. But by experience this is going to be a persistent engagement.”
"Since October, U.S. troops have fanned out to five outposts in four countries, advising thousands of troops from Uganda, the Central African Republic, South Sudan and Congo who are hunting Kony across a territory the size of California. In Obo, the terrain is so remote that it took the U.S. military four months to carve out its jungle camp."
"...A team of about 20 Green Berets from the U.S. Army has set up camp in Obo, a remote town in the southeastern corner of the impoverished Central African Republic. The military would not permit journalists to tour the American camp — which villagers described as being protected by razor wire and cameras — but granted interviews with the local U.S. commander and security forces from Uganda and the Central African Republic who also are based here..."

Ron Paul upset in the works!

I AM STILL UPDATING THIS POST!!! KEEP COMING BACK FOR UPDATES!
NEW POST: A discussion on the anti-Romney strategy!
After Last Tuesdays Election Night How is Ron Paul's Campaign Doing?
Rumors of the demise of the Ron Paul campaign have been vastly overestimated.
The Ron Paul Paul r3OVLution continues!
While Mitt Romney did sweep the East Coast primaries last night, there is an interesting subplot happening within the Republican presidential nominating process that few, particularly those in the media, are aware of. Ron Pauls delegate strategy seems to be working with clear delegate wins declared in at least 5 states with more expected (to mention a few North Dakota, Maine, Oklahoma). With the departure of Santorum and Gingrich (expected Tuesday), the organizational strength and fundraising prowess of the Paul campaign is the last serious challenge that Romney has going into the August nominating convention in Tampa.
This turn of events might not be a surprise to you if you've been a Ron Paul supporter from the beginning. So don't be surprised to see even last night's series of election outcomes overturned by the grassroots winning the remaining open delegate slots at their local district conventions... Could there be a real upset in the making?
It has always been clear that Ron Paul has the best campaign and national grassroots support aside from Romney and was truly the only other serious campaign effort. This observation from last year has now become our current reality. Ron Paul could very well be nominated at the Republican National Convention in Tampa in late Summer.
Ron Paul has won the majority of delegates in at least 5 states. According to RNC rules, a candidate needs the majority support of at least 5 state delegations to the national convention in order to make it on the ballot in the nomination process at the national convention. This means Ron Paul will definitely be on the GOP ballot in Tampa this August
[Fox News reports Ron Paul will be on the convention ballot] FOX News Admits Ron Paul Is Headed To Tampa Convention! - YouTube
We are the future of the party. This is our party to make of it what we want. While Ron Paul is our banner and ideological leader, We made his candidacy happen. Together we can save our country from its many troubles and enjoy a life of peace and prosperity for ourselves and our families. The support Romney has is from members of the party that are generally over the age of 40 and those who see him matching up best against Obama. Yet despite all the media and institutional support for him (i.e. presumptive nominee), Romney cannot break 70% support for his candidacy in any recent contest. Think about it this way: Nearly 1 in 3 Republicans dislike Romney so much that they still will not vote for him. Does anyone really think Romney can win if 1 in 3 Republicans refuse to vote for him come November? I didnt think so
Ron Pauls delegate strategy is working! 3 of the 5 states Romney supposedly won, DE, CT & NY were completely winner-take-all. Of the remaining 2 states, RI and PA, Ron Paul won 4 and at least 5 delegates, respectively. Jake Towne has a great breakdown on the PA effort where he reminds us that all of the PA delegates are unbound no matter (meaning: not controlled by Romney). Tuesday's Delegate Breakdown: Connecticut (25 by winner-take-all), Delaware (17 by winner-take-all), New York (34 by winner-take-all, 58 by district conventions, 3 unbound super-delegates), Pennsylvania (none bound, no winner-take-all, 15 by state committee selection, 3 super-delegates, 54 by district conventions), Rhode Island (strictly proportional, Paul won 4 delegates). So theres another 127 delegate slots up for grabs that Ron Pauls campaign has been so successful at getting. Its still possible to see complete upset in PA ruining Romney's perfect sweep from Tuesday (like we saw in Minnesota and Iowa). Add the other 15 states that have yet to vote (816 delegates left, 360 of which are won at the district level which are mainly in the RP strongholds of TX and CA). There is a lot more yet to happen!!!
[Jake Towne article on RP successes in PA primary] http://www.nolanchart.com/article9583-ron-paul-wins-5-delega...
Only 4 of the remaining 15 states are winner-take-all. Indiana, California, New Jersey-open? and Utah-open? have a total of 308 winner-take-all delegates. [?-Apparently, voters here can change their voter registration to vote Republican on the same day, like in IA or NH. Can someone confirm this?]
Take Heart! Romney needs to reach 1,144 delegates to win the nomination. Even if Ron Paul's campaign doesn't achieve stronger electoral success in the remaining primaries, it will probably remain statistically uncertain if Romney had reached the magic number come August. The future of our country rests on that close of a margin. And Ron Paul's delegate strategy hinges on Romney not getting to 1,144. The exaggerated numbers from the AP/NYTimes has Romney with 844 delegates. TheGreenPapers.com however shows Romney with a "hard" delegate count of 724. It is not out of the question to believe that Romney might miss the mark.
These last 2 months are key. The monster delegations of TX-Open, May 29 (152 delegates) and then CA-Closed, June 5 (169 delegates) could very well be the needle that breaks the back of the establishment. Get to your phones and encourage your friends and family living in TX and CA to vote. Election Notes: This Saturday is the Louisiana caucus which RP supporters from outside the state are welcomed to attend and speak on behalf on the man. This coming Tuesday is the election of 4 states including North Carolina which will give us a good idea of how Ron Paul will do following Newt and Santorum quitting. Open primaries in Indiana and Texas. Nebraska and Montana hold the last caucuses, June 10th and 16th, respectively.

Nothing is over until it is over! Romney is starting to look real bad and so is the media. Let's keep up the pressure!!
It is critical to encourage RP supporters across the country into action. Pennsylvania saw 23,983 fewer votes for RP than 4 years ago (2008: 129,323 compared to 2012: 105,340). We need to be on top of communicating our message and telling people what is really happening instead of just letting the media have their ways with our minds and ultimately, our hearts. We are the New Media. Our country, our way of life will fail if we do not speak up.

Last Man Standing
Writes The American Spectator’s James Antle:
What is Ron Paul doing?..
Last weekend, (Paul supporters) won at the Louisiana caucuses even though Paul managed just 6 percent of the vote in the state’s primary earlier this year. The Paulites carried the 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th congressional districts. According to one count, 74 percent of the delegates elected to the state convention Saturday were Paul supporters…
That same day, Ron Paul supporters were elected chairman and vice chairman of the Alaska Republican Party. Paul finished third in the popular vote in Alaska’s caucuses, but his supporters joined with former Tea Party Senate candidate Joe Miller to dominate the state convention. According to Politico, “It’s more evidence of the political maturation of the Paul forces, who are beginning to seize the levers of powers from within state parties.”
In Minnesota, Paul came in second in the popular vote in the caucuses, ahead of Romney but behind Santorum. Yet this month he swept 20 of the 24 delegates available at the Minnesota congressional district conventions.
Then in Iowa, at least six of the new state Republican central committee members are public Paul supporters. The Des Moines Register describes two others as having “close ties,” reporting, “A rising tide of Republicans who share Ron Paul’s philosophy of limited government are flooding into GOP party roles in Iowa.” A.J. Spiker, the state party chairman, was a former vice chairman of Paul’s Iowa campaign.
The Ron Paul Republicans’ mission is twofold. First, they want to secure enough delegates to the Republican National Convention to place Paul’s name in nomination. The International Business Timesreports, “Washington is now the third state, after Iowa and Minnesota, in which Ron Paul has locked up at least half of the state’s nominating delegates.” North Dakota and Maine could join them.
Some hope this will give them a longshot chance of winning, citing Warren G. Harding’s nomination in 1920. More likely, it gives Paul some leverage at the convention to negotiate for certain platform planks, a promiment speaking slot, or perhaps even have some say over the vice presidential pick.
The second objective is to integrate themselves into party leadership positions like the Christian right did before them. While Paul’s supporters are so far a smaller voting bloc than the social conservatives who backed Pat Robertson’s presidential campaign in 1988, Paul’s crowds on the stump are still huge: over 3,000 turned out to see Paul in Houston, 6,000 in Austin, more than 4,000 in the rain in Philadelphia.
Could Santorum or Gingrich regularly draw such big, young crowds after their chances to win the nomination dwindled? Could Romney do so now?
Paul will also be the last man standing against Romney in some large remaining primaries. He will hope to replicate — or perhaps even improve upon — the 40 percent of the vote he got in Virginia when he and Romney were the only Republican presidential candidates on the ballot…
Many other Republicans are demoralized. The near-certain nominee doesn’t excite them. There are fewer high-profile Tea Party primaries than two years ago. The other conservative presidential candidates have been beaten.
Ron Paul’s supporters remain. They are still trying to win delegates and reshape the Republican Party.

This is what failure looks like. And why, in the military, they drum into your head: failure is not an option!
Heres an interesting fact: the majority of US deaths in the decade-long war in Afghanistan have occurred in the two years since the Moonbat Messiahs Ascension to the White House.
... Of the 858 U.S. deaths since Obamas inauguration, 791 have been combat-related. This means that for the 1,241 combat-related deaths that occurred since the Afghanistan war began in October 2001, about 64 percent happened in the two years since Obama took office.

Remind me not to let Obama anywhere near my 401k. What's that you say? He's already borrowed money against my 401k to give it to his loser-friend-campaign contributors? ARRRgggHHHHH!!!!!
The worst president in history is also the worst investor in history. He has the opposite of the Midas touch. Anything that was golden will fail miserably if Obama so much as breathes in it's direction.
Take his... endorsement of Solyndra, for example. Here's what O-failure said about his pet project:
Every day that you build this expanded facility," President Obama told employees of Solyndra at the company's solar panel plant in Fremont, Calif., last May, "you're demonstrating that the promise of clean energy isn't just an article of faith. Not anymore. ... It's happening right now. The future is here."
We all know how that ended.

Thanks everyone who has helped our efforts in supporting Ron Paul and our Meet Up's sign bomb project. Over 800 custom Ron Paul signs have been made and distributed so far, plus 100s of large car stickers and dozens of banners. But we have more work to do, and about 400 more signs are in production as I write this. We've sent about 50 signs this week alone to IN, NC, TX and CA.. And another 20 signs and 3 banners are shipping to ID tomorrow. We've also been able to send care packages to prominent places around the country like rallies in IA and MN; and make a large impact to help other Ron Paul supporters, Meet Ups and the campaign itself. Several of us will be hitting the SoCal and San Diego events this week. See you there!

The facts about delegates in California
Submitted by StealthZ117 on Mon, 04/30/2012 - 05:52
Delegates
California
California is a Winner-Take-All *per* congressional district and a closed presidential primary or should i say an open primary for everything on every level of voting *except* when it comes to the presidency.
California has 172 delegates on the line, 53 congressional districts, each district gets 3 delegates (3x53=159), 10 at-large delegates going to the overall winner of the state, and 3 delegates (technically unbound) go to top Republican members; the National Committeeman, the National Committeewoman, and the chairman of the California's Republican Party.
Win a District and get those 3 delegates period. Delegates are picked by the campaign of the district winner, RP himself could pick them personally i suppose if he wanted. No county convention, no state convention, only the RNC (no practice *sad face*). Who the delegates are bound to for 2 rounds of votes at the RNC is purely based on popular vote of each district.
Source: California Republican Delegation 2012
Listen up RP supporters who are Independents and Democrats(or anything that's not republican), register to vote as Republican by *MAY 21st* (we say 14th in case of mistakes or corruption) and vote for RP on June 5th. IF YOU DON'T you are hurting the revolution.
All we have to do is win the Republican nomination. If we succeed in that then winning the presidency will be easy as the most effective tool, even though it is a lie, the MSM has against RP is there claim of RP being unelectable. Win the nomination and the Presidency will follow shortly with, i predict, a 70% landslide at minimum. RP already won the presidency by Nov. last year... That's why *they* had to steal it.

Ron Paul Supporters Focus On State Delegations
By Danny Yadron
Undaunted by a GOP primary that is effectively over, Rep. Ron Pauls supporters are now working to take over state Republican parties and delegations to the Republican National Convention this summer.
This weekend, Mr. Pauls backers effectively captured the Alaska GOP, won the Louisiana caucuses and beat out delegates picked by Mitt Romney in Massachusetts, the presumptive nominees home state.
None of this, of course, is expected to alter the outcome of the GOP primary, but it is a notable illustration of the movement Mr. Paul built this election season, despite failing to win a single states nominating contest. Its a network another Republican with libertarian views, such as Mr. Pauls son, Sen. Rand Paul (R., Ky.), could tap in future elections.
Mr. Romney needs to amass 1,144 delegates to mathematically clinch the Republican nomination. He currently sits at 847, according to the Associated Press, while Mr. Paul has 80.
In Alaska on Saturday, Republicans voted a pair of Paul supporters as the state partys chairman and co-chairwoman. While Rick Santorum won Louisianas GOP primary last month, Mr. Paul won the states party-controlled caucuses Saturday. That means Mr. Paul will have a majority of the delegates at the state partys convention in June, which, in theory, would lead to more delegates at the Republican National Convention this summer, local TV reports.
In Massachusetts, where Mr. Romney won with 72% of the vote in last months primary, the Boston Globe reports that less than half of Mr. Romneys delegates won spots this weekend.
Once again, it may not matter much for Mr. Paul. Since Mr. Romney overwhelmingly won the Bay States primary this month, even the delegates supporting Mr. Paul will have to back the former Massachusetts governor at the national convention this summer, though they will be able to shape the party platform, the Globe noted.
