Friends of ALIPAC,

The time has come for us to launch our first of two fund raisers for 2008. While we had hoped to launch this effort in February, we have been running from fight to fight to represent your views on controlling illegal immigration in America.

ALIPAC has proven that we are committed to representing your views which are shared by 80% of Americans. While we all do not agree on every issue and we have not won every battle, we have proven to be one of the most effective activist forces in America fighting against illegal immigration. We have made great strides towards reversing illegal immigration and we must work together to make 2008 another historic year.

We need to raise a minimum of $25,000 as soon as possible to cover ALIPAC's base budget needs over the next several months. We have placed a fund raiser tracking bar at the top of www.alipac.us to show our progress.

PLANS FOR 2008

For 2008, we have special plans to pass more immigration enforcement bills in states across America. These measures have led to humane and orderly mass exoduses of illegals from Georgia, Arizona, and Oklahoma. We must also fight against several attempts that are underway to pass in-state tuition and driver license access for illegals in some states.

We have prepared new websites for launch in March. These will help to ensure the exposure of our issue in the Congressional campaigns. They will also provide a resource to every voter that shows which candidates stand for enforcement of immigration laws and those who stand for Amnesty. The sites will also help document which Congressional candidates support amnesty, such as La Raza, MALDEF, and LULAC.


Your financial support is critical to our chances of success on the state and Congressional level.

DOUBLING ALIPAC's STRENGTH

Each full year ALIPAC has been in existence, since September 11, 2004, we have doubled our strength in the number of donors, Internet activists, and web traffic. Currently, we have over 25,000 supporters on our national e-mail alert list and our website is getting around 4 million hits per month! It will be a real challenge to double our strength, finances, and outreach to America in 2008, however we do have a plan.

To reach our goals in 2008, we need each donor who contributed in 2007 to pledge to give the same amount or more in 2008. We need contributors who gave in prior years that did not donate in 07 to rejoin our efforts. We also need the thousands of new supporters to consider joining the ranks of our financial contributors.

If we can accomplish this, we will reach and exceed our $25,000 target quickly. We hope to raise enough funds beyond our base budget needs to launch an effort to contact 30,000 Americans who are likely to join our efforts. We will try to reach them by e-mail, mail, and phone and this will cost us around $15,000. If this project succeeds, your efforts will be enhanced by many new supporters.

We also hope to greatly expand our ability to reach out to America via the mail system and a new phone bank. These systems can greatly increase our power as a voice for enforcement of immigration laws, if we succeed.

THREAT TO FREE SPEECH

Recently, the government of Mexico, in conjunction with radical left wing smear groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), Anti Defamation League (ADL), and George Soros group Media Matters have declared war on us. Their plan is to lie and smear Internet groups like ALIPAC, FAIR, NumbersUSA along with Lou Dobbs, Glenn Beck, and any talk radio show host who dares to tell the public the truth about illegal immigration.

Their goal is to take us off the air and suppress free speech in America.

We are facing a coordinated effort funded by millions of dollars. While the truth and the American public is on our side, we must grow rapidly in the number of dollars we raise and the number of activists at our side to continue the momentum of our movement.

While ALIPAC is designed for people with money and no time or time and no money, you must speak out now in defense of our cause. We have accomplished great and historic things as Americans of every political party, race, and walk of life standing together for the enforcement of our existing immigration laws.

After all, the true issue behind illegal immigration is the sovereignty of our nation and the self governance of the American citizenry.

To those of you who have been watching and listening without taking further steps, we need you to stand with us now.

While a donation of any amount will help us reach our goals, we hope many of you will consider donations of $1,000, $500, and $250 as donations of this size will help us reach our goals quickly, so our full attention can be returned to our other efforts.

We must reach our minimum goal of $25,000 before our fund raising deadline of March 31, 2008.
