Today ALIPAC releases the organization's "Cantor List 2018" detailing 84 incumbent Republican members of Congress who support Amnesty for illegal aliens, which is rejected by most Americans and super majorities of Republican primary voters, in the hopes of organizing GOP primary challengers for each Cantor List target.
In 2014, Dave Brat defeated powerful incumbent Eric Cantor by pointing out to GOP primary voters Cantor's support for Immigration Reform Amnesty, which led ALIPAC to create The Cantor List.
In 2016, Cantor List target Renee Ellmers (R-NC) lost her seat to an Amnesty opponent while Donald Trump swept past all GOP challengers by promising immigration law enforcement instead of immigration reform and DACA Amnesty supported by candidates like Bush, Clinton, Graham, Rubio, Huckabee, and Kasich.
In 2017, Senate incumbent Luther Strange lost his seat after being defeated by Judge Roy Moore who opposes any form of Amnesty for illegal aliens.
ALIPAC's immediate goal is to inspire, promote, and support as many quality GOP challengers as possible to run against the 84 GOP targets on the 2018 Cantor List. GOP primary challenges are likely to push these Republican lawmakers away from efforts to pass Amnesty for illegal aliens as part of a "comprehensive" immigration bill before the end of 2017.
Efforts to pass Amnesty in Washington, DC, will cease if no bill passes by January of 2018 because incumbent Republican lawmakers know their voters back home oppose Amnesty legislation.
"While the DC power groups and pro Amnesty news corporations like Fox News, ABC, and the Washington Post are waving false propaganda polls in lawmakers faces, the truth is that more than two thirds of their GOP voters back home oppose any Amnesty for DACA Dream Act illegal aliens," explained William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. "While we also want to remove as many Democrats as possible from office, our immediate focus is to defeat as many of these 89 GOP lawmakers as we can because they've already proven they will put the interests of illegal aliens, foreign nationals, and big banks and businesses ahead of the interests of American workers, taxpayers, and voters."
Most names on ALIPAC's 2018 Cantor List can be clicked on to view a more detailed summary of their support for Amnesty for illegal aliens. This information is compiled in a way that can be very useful to GOP primary challengers taking on well financed incumbents.
Former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon has recently made headlines and political waves by announcing an effort to target incumbent Republican members of the U.S. Senate for removal from office in 2018 to be replaced by more conservative insurgent Republicans.
ALIPAC hopes that Bannon's team, Rev 18 PAC, Great America PAC, and SarahPAC will take a close look at ALIPAC's Cantor List and utilize immigration wedge issues to help put a stop to the current push in Washington to pass Amnesty to cover DACA program illegal immigrants.
ALIPAC has already endorsed Republican Judge Roy Moore in Alabama, and Dr. Kelli Ward against U.S. Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ). Other Senators ALIPAC wants to see primaried include Orrin Hatch (R-UT) and Dean Heller (R-NV). Replacements are also being sought for retiring Senator Bob Corker (R-TN) and independent Senator Angus King (I-ME) who both support Amnesty.
There are an additional 85 Cantor List targets in the U.S. House found on the list.
