Katrina, ALIPAC, Illegal Immigration, & Guest Worker Amn

    Supporters of ALIPAC,

Special welcome to the hundreds of new members to this list that have signed up via www.alipac.us in the last month or so.

We have lifted our rule on the ALIPAC forums (illegal immigratio topics only) to allow articles and discussions about the aftermath of Katrina.

We have also postponed our needed September fundraiser for ALIPAC to avoid fund raising during the national call for contributions for Katrina victims. The next ALIPAC fund raiser will take place in the month of October instead.

There are three major stories involving illegal immigration related to Katrina. Border Patrol forces have been ordered from the border to the disaster area. The Bush administration has told Mexico that the 40,000 illegal aliens in LA will not be held or deported. Large portions of the illegal alien population in several states are now on the move to other areas... Perhaps near you! (See articles at the End)

One crucial effort that cannot wait is our opposition to the Bush Guest Worker Amnesty Program. The Bush administration's multi-million dollar public relations campaign is in full swing. We need all of our citizen volunteers to be prepared to engage on this issue by the end of this week. WE MUST BLOCK THIS AMNESTY ATTEMPT.

If you plan to assist our efforts, then please take a few hours of time to brush up on your knowledge base. WE ARE ENCOURAGING ALL ALIPAC VOLUNTEERS TO ENTER the ARCHIVES AND READ AS MUCH AS YOU CAN TO PREPARE. The archives are found on the left column of the homepage at www.alipac.us Reading into our archives will increase your ability to engage in the fight against Guest Worker. Special instructions will follow when we launch our opposition plan this week.

Many of our supporters live in areas affected by the storm. Our prayers go out for them and we hope many will rejoin us this week as the power is restored to many areas.

We must work to restore the national conversation on illegal immigration as soon as possible. Illegal immigration is costing taxpayers over 80 billion dollars per year. How many thousands of Americans are killed, raped, assaulted, and robbed by illegal aliens? It is a storm like Katrina that gets bigger every year. illegal immigration is an invisible storm that must be addressed.

Thank you for your support. Please contact me if I or ALIPAC can be of any assistance to you or your efforts.

There is a real connection in between Hurricane Katrina and illegal immigration both in terms of attempted amnesty and what can be done to reduce the number here and the flow of more. It all is very dependent on how we use the unfortunate event as opportunity to remedy the other less dramatic disaster.

I do not doubt that Presidente Fox sees Hurricane Katrina as an opportunity to infiltrate several hundred thousand more illegal aliens into the United States and effectively amnesty as many more. Americans caught within Mexico who are caught working without papers are picked up and then expelled in about three weeks.

It is much harder to immigrate to Mexico and Mexico is a total hypocrite when it comes to having us give amnesty for the Mexican illegal immigrants the Mexicans allowing undocumented immigrants to live, drive and work there.

The opportunity now is that the largest relocation center for the New Orleans evacuees or refugees is Houston. Most of them are US citizens and legal immigrants. Houston has a large day labor market which is filled now mostly by illegal immigrants from Mexico.

It is unlikely that the federal government will feed and the New Orleanians for long. The city of Houston and state of Texas are already complaining about the expense. Most of the arriving New Orleanians are going to have to go into the Houston day labor workforce in competition with the Mexican illegals.

Random volunteers have to be recruited by the anti illegal immigration forces keeping an eye day labor pick up points. People with secure jobs are sometimes motivated to take free time and do watch detail. People who are already waiting for day labor employment are in a really great position to keep track of who is doing the employment and turning it over to the authorities. Give them notepads and cameras.

The New Orleanian citizens are able to vote in Houston in just 30 days. Some of the countries best and worst legislators are located in Metro Houston. By resettling the New Orleanians in the right voting districts and registering them to vote.

Pressures can be put on the Houston Police Department to help enforce immigration law. Police will be moved by petition as they were when they decided to neglect enforcement by their petitioners. The open border petitioners being heavily immigrants on the whole are also less likely than the New Orleanians to vote.

As the 2006 elections approach the legislators will be moved to protect their rights and by extnsion every legal worker in the U.S.

Call Houston City Government to ask for enforcement.

I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
