If you want ALIPAC and allied groups to remain able to go on national TV, then take action now!

Friends of ALIPAC,

The SPLC, ADL, Media Matters, and National Council of La Raza, have launched a coordinated multi-million dollar smear campaign against ALIPAC and allied organizations. Their goal is clear, they want to stop us from being able to speak in ALL media, with specific focus on the major news networks like Fox, MSNBC, and CNN.

They are also targeting Bill O’Reilly, Glenn Beck, and Lou Dobbs!

Their effort can be viewed at www.wecanstopthehate(dot)org <--- (link disabled, add a dot to your browser to view) ALIPAC is targeted in their video titled, "Code Words of Hate" and in a new release from the SPLC.

They are making false claims of racism and making the ridiculous claim that we are all speaking in "code" to create more hate crimes against Hispanics.

As FAIR has pointed out here, the SPLC is lying about the crime statistics.

2. Please read ALIPAC's letter that is being sent to all major news networks and show hosts. Please craft your own letter and mail it in. E-mails may help some, but please make sure you mail in a hard copy. This would be a great time for ALIPAC's black and Hispanic supporters to really step forward in our defense. Feel free to defend ALIPAC and or other groups and hosts under attack that you like.

3. We need posts on websites and calls into talk radio. Talk radio show hosts are also being approached by these groups. These groups like the SPLC have thrown their credibility into the toilette, if American hears from you on the talk radio shows.

Then access our Talk Radio directory and start writing to talk show hosts and calling in to get on the air to let La Raza, The ADL, the SPLC, Media Matters, and the SPLC have a piece of your mind.

William by their standards O'Reilly uses hate speech during his Patriots and Pinheads segment. They would call "pinheads" hate speech. I can call anything hate speech but that doesn't make it so.

These people have become so desperate and grasping they have lost all ability to think and act with the slightest of rationale

I'm still wondering how and where the SPLC and LaRaza contend this all occuring Do they allege we have secret meetings? Decoder rings? The equivalent of the Bat-phone? What?

Seriously, I've seen and heard some bizarre things but this.......this really takes the cake. It's just insane.

Once again we are faced with the harsh reality that these people do have more expertise on this topic of hate speech, much as they do on the topic of racism.

Think back at the speech they have used against us.

The reality of that speech parallels much of the racism they exhibit here and in their countries of origin.

Sort of amusing when you think about it.

If they succeed in silencing , "We the People" in the media, "We the People" will find other ways to communicate and express themselves.

That isn't any secret code. It is a fact of nature.

Should Local Officials Enforce Immigration Law?

Senator Saxby Chambliss has sponsored S.2717, the The Effective Immigration Enforcement Partnerships Act of 2008. The purpose of this bill is to provide local governments and law enforcement the resources, training, and authority to enforce U.S. immigration law at the local level. According to his website, aspects of the bill include:

* "Clarifying their authority to enforce federal immigration laws during their normal course of duty"
* "Expanding the 287(g) program to every state." Section 287(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act authorizes state and local police to perform enforcement duties related to illegal immigration
* "Offering a basic training course for all state and local law enforcement officers"
* "Compensating state and local entities for immigration enforcement related expenses"
