I personally found it quite odd for the Attorney General to be in El Salvador on an ICE mission, I thought that was a DHS job, not DOJ. So, the plot thickens, and Sessions seemed very calm, relaxed, all smiles and almost cagey in a good way when asked about the President's comments by media while he was in El Salvador, he also said that Trump was a strong leader and very determined to fulfill his Agenda.
So, we'll see what happens. I like the move of Kelly to Chief of Staff, lets see how Trump maximizes the opportunity that opens up. Heard today on the news that Trump doesn't need Senate approval to move Sessions to Secretary of DHS, and when he does that Sessions is good in that spot without further action for 210 days, then he can nominate him officially.
