Friends of ALIPAC,

Today we must move our focus to Maine and Mississippi.

Maine is one of the last states to give licenses to illegal aliens and we have motion for our side there. The illegal aliens are running out of states they can get a license in. We must use our victories in Oregon and Michigan, where we have shut down licenses for illegals, to carry us to success in Maine.

Mississippi is a high-impact state where 5 immigration enforcement bills have cleared the state Senate by overwhelming margins.

The problem is that some pro-illegal alien committee chairs in the house threaten to stop our legislation dead in its tracks. Sources on the ground tell us that nothing short of a historic effort from the public can lead these bills to passage.

Please take action now and remember that each call you make and each e-mail or letter you send into Mississippi and Maine increases our chances of success there!

STRATEGY REMINDER AND AMNESTY ALERT

We want to remind everyone how important these state campaigns are. Too many people in our movement only take action when the hour is late and we are playing deep and desperate defense against AMNESTY.

Everyone needs to know that AMNESTY proponents have a plan to push again in a few months. For those sitting idle on the state campaigns, we must advise you that we only have a short period of time to play offense in the states.

The AMNESTY proponents are lining things up and they plan to have you cornered when they make their next move. That will be easy to do, if too many people in our movement sit idle and await the tightening of the noose before they try to move.

We will provide you with more info soon.

The purpose of passing state laws to enforce the laws that the Feds refuse to take action on are...

1. Each state that cracks down will make it harder for Washington DC to override their work and progress with the next Amnesty attempt. Try to imagine the political pressure on each member of the US Congress and US Senate, if they try to vote on a bill that would nullify the actions of their state legislatures.

2. Each state that cracks down illustrates what we know, which is that 80% of Americans want enforcement only, no amnesty, no path to citizenship, and for illegal aliens to leave.

3. Each state that cracks down creates an exodus of illegal aliens from those state, which is important for three reasons. A. Illegal aliens move into adjacent states, which increases pressure there for enforcement. B. Some illegal aliens give up and exit our nation, and C. State level enforcement proves our point about attrition enforcement. We have a growing number of examples showing that illegal immigration is being facilitated by the non-enforcement of our laws on the Federal level and that by simply enforcing existing immigration laws, illegals begin to leave and thereby removing the need for mass deportations.

We can take America back state by state and town by town! We are winning in the places where lawmakers still represent American citizens, instead of big business.
