Gogo,
The visual is already out there, you can thank Drudge for that.Quote:

I wonder what a map dated 2008 having the portions of present day Sweden listed as 'Greater Norway' would go over...???
Very good Phrede.
Hey since the msm isn't putting this on the news, all they can see right is is the presidential campaigns, how do we get this thing on YouTube.
I understand that, but the visual of an ad campaign lends credence to what we are saying. Just as Chosen has said, a Swedish company doesn't just come up with that idea. It has to originate from some where and be prevalent enough to hit a demographic for your ad. It has to be a mindset. Most people think that this is just conspiracy. But once you see a company put validity to that theory, then the doubter has to think twice about it JUST BEING CONSPIRACY THEORISTS. They may want to blow it off. Once you see a company trying to make money using this, and a foreign country company at that, it just might make them think twice.Quote:

Isn't this a form of hate speech in advertising? It promotes conquering another country with no sensitivity to the other country? Doesn't this tie in with La Raza's code words of hate? Shouldn't this angle be explored?
IMHO, the only way Absolut can apologize to us is to run another add showing a big huge wall on the real border. Or what someone earlier suggested, Mexicans fleeing south of the border, or maybe something with ICE in it.
OMG, yes, that's it! A hi-ball glass of Absolute with ice cubes in it with the initials I.C.E. on each ice cube!
Gogo,
I completely agree, that's why I thought the ad was a good thing for us.Quote:

Personally, I plan on getting some rhetorical mileage out of this ad both on the web and in private conversation.

Yes, they are also bragging that they are a "global company" and don't care about the petty concerns of those of us will live in unique countries with our own customs, loyalties - they're saying:Quote:

Let's teach these filthy rich global types what Americans once taught haughty British colonial overlords. Tar and feathering folks?
We need to get a copy of the Quien magazine and see what words were printed with the ad.
Am not quite clear if the following quote accompanied the map picture when it was published in the Quien magazine or not.
If these words were printed then it is POLITICAL (i.e. getting the U.S.-Mexico border straight once and for all).
The border is straight--right where it's legally suppose to be and NOT where their map shows it to be.
If these words accompanied the picture in the ad then it is political subversion of United States sovereignty and laws.
