Illegals whine about In-state going down in CO
http://dreamactivist.org/2009/04/06/col ... in-flames/
Colorado Tuition Equity Goes Down in Flames
Not due to lack of hard work. Not due to the extremists calling from outside the state. But due to two spineless Democrats. Still, hear a Colorado Dream Activist, Hans, and his message for all of us.
[quote]I just got back from the capitol. I’m feeling really crappy. After four hours of intense debate on the senate floor and witnessing some dim-witted senators spewing ill-informed arguments, the bill will now rest in peace. Unfortunately many smart, hard-working Colorado high school graduates will not. Because they will lose sleep worrying about their future and how impossible it is to continue their education to fulfill their dreams.
What pissed me off the most is that the bill was essentially defeated by two #bleep# democrats, who had been expressing support all along, but decided to all of the sudden stabbed us in the back by voting against it. When I heard that final gavel, there began one of the longest silent moments I’ve ever heard. I was waiting for the guy to say, “Wait I miscounted!â€

We are not denying them education, if they want to pay for it. I don't understand why the need for them to get in-state-tuition. They just want something for nothing. Let them pay what other people out of the state pay. They ARE NOT special and don't deserve special treatment.

Their losses in Colorado, Arkansas, and New Jersey are nails in the coffin of the Dream Act Amnesty!
The momentum is on our side now and we will use our victories to rout these illegal alien amnesty supporters!

Hans, Julie and all the amazing organizers from , we love you and we applaud all the hard-work you have put into this. Never ever give up in the fight for justice and fairness. This is a setback but the battle for civil rights was not won in one day and we know that the DREAM Act and many state versions of it, have had to go through many years of lobbying, crying, convincing, fighting and battling it out with those in the fringes of society who scream the loudest because they have no warrants or reason. We will prevail for we are on the right side of history.
Read more about the bill in the Denver Post:
Illegals and those who advocate on their behalf will never win! Good luck paying out of state tuition! It's but sheer luck and stupidity on behalf of those who represent us that your even allowed to attend college in this country to begin with.... you ungrateful scofflaws!Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I am soo sick of this entitlement attitude. Life is tough. We don't always get everything we want. Go back to your country of origin and go to college. If you want to become a US citizen do it the legal way. At 18 you are an adult and you have to deal with what your parents did.
And, not EVERYONE has to go to college or have "their lives ruined." There are ways around it! If you want to go to colllege badly eough you will. Grow up!!
Just be thankful that you recieved an American grade school and high school education!
Stop the whining!! I can't take it any longer.
Folks ...do you see how the enthocentric special interest groups have given illegal aliens an "entitlement mentality?"

I urge everyone to bypass the link, and comment on the story. Just go to www.DreamActivist.org and click on the story. Here's what I left.
Actually, activists DID stop this legislation. Your "two spineless democrats" finally woke up, and listened to the MAJORITY. Law breakers should not get rewarded. Americans do not want special treatment given, especially when the people in question have broken US laws. No amnesty, EVER!
We need to let these people know that yes, WE defeated this bill.We see so many tribes overrun and undermined
