    Report: Liliana- Anti-Sanctuary Rally Simi Valley

    SOS RALLY AGAINST LILIANA TAKING CHURCH SANCTUARY IN SIMI VALLEY, CA.

    Logistics:

    - The church has a parking lot all around it like a horseshoe with an entryway and an exit way. Most of the protesters were on the sidewalk in between the two driveways, in front of the church.

    Attendance::

    - Anti-illegal protestors averaged about 100, with a maximum of about 125. 90% of them were in that area between the driveways. About 10-12 were directly across the street, and about 10-12 were about half a block east of the major group. It was the usual group of patriots from SOS, but also many others. There were two excellent speakers/protesters from Ted Hayes’ organization, chooseblackamerica.com. They were fantastic in dealing with the unruly horde of pro-illegals.
    - The pro-illegals numbered only about 12-14, with a maximum number of about 20. There were at least 4 children under 10 in the pro-illegal group, holding signs. That made me particularly irate. The group of pro-illegals was on the east side of the church, separated from the majority by the east driveway (about 8 feet), but still in between the majority and the small group farther east.

    Police presence:

    - There was a massive police presence. Had to be upwards of 30 officers. They were blocking each of the driveways, and there were squads at all surrounding intersections with two in each car. They also had to use 2-3 officers strictly to stand in front of the pro-illegals. They had no such presence blocking the anti-illegal protesters.

    Press:

    - There wasn’t any major press attendance. Telemundo arrived about two hours into the protest with a large media truck that was allowed to park in the church parking lot. In fairness to the Telemundo people, very many of the SOS people and anti-illegal protesters were interviewed. There was a camera reporter from the Ventura County Star who also was taking interviews. And there was assorted “pressâ€

    ICE, but it was that they would deal with Liliana in 3-6 months.
    What! It takes 3-6 months to drive from LA to Simi Valley? Boy I didn't think traffic was that bad.

    That's funny, Bull. It's not that bad, YET.

    I guess we have to assume they don't want to enter the church, similar to the Chicago deal w/Elvira. Hopefully, it ends in the same manner.
