While the MSM is going around spotlighting the candidates personalities and flaws, flip-flops, and conducting their own self-enlisted polls, there seems to have been no discussion whatsoever that Romney is the strongest Republican on supporting National Security. Apparently they don't read the National Taxpayers Union breakdown of candidates' spending plans.

Romney is listed as the candidate who is willing to put a monetary increase where it can do the most good in protecting this country, sort of like "putting your money where your mouth is". Will some of it be used to enforce illegal immigration? Maybe, but it is there under the heading of National Defense/International Affairs.

McCain, on the other hand, is mumbling his devotion to himself and "my friends" and prattling that the military is his supporting leg to stand on.

Romney shows a HUGE concern for National Defense and International Affairs.
Romney's spending plans show a 40 to 1 increase in National Defense and International Affairs over McCain. It is Romney's most important category increase in this spending plan. This is without a major TOTAL increase in overall spending. He also is higher than McCain for Veterans.

I am grateful to Alipacer MARKM for putting this on our site.
