Morning research needed on illegal alien riots issue

    Friends,

This has been a wild 9 days with our fight with Graham and others but now the smoke is clearing I need your help.

I thought I saw something pass my failing eyes on a screen on one of these computers that I need help finding.

Something about Congressman Luis Gutierrez either encouraging illegals to riot or claiming that illegals could or would riot if he did not get his way?

Can any of you help me locate this info because I think it is several hundreds of emails back in my email box somewhere.

It's just mind boggling (and mind numbing)...the sense of entitlement of the OBL and the IA's. Whatever happened to "citizenship is a privilege, not a right" idea? I say, let them riot, let them march, let them chant. It will only galvanize those Americans who have yet to wake up to the disaster unfolding before their eyes!

Now that would be something the DOJ should look in to but alas we have Holder at the helm so we can expect zero from him or barry....

What kind of US Congressman ask people to boycott his own constituents and then ask illegal aliens to violently oppose legislation that was created and voted on in a democratic way and supported by the majority of the people in his state? Gutierrez needs to be tossed out of office.

Dem to Obama: Push immigration or I’ll tell Latino voters to stay home

By Russell Berman and Bob Cusack - 04/20/10 06:00 AM ET

A congressman from the president’s home state is threatening that he will urge Latino voters to stay home this November if the Democratic Party does not make a concerted effort to pass comprehensive immigration reform.

Rep. Luis Gutierrez (Ill.) is arguably President Barack Obama’s biggest Democratic critic in Congress. And he’s not fond of Obama’s top advisers at the White House, either.

The Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) member has strongly criticized the administration’s policy on deportation and questioned its commitment to far-reaching reform.

Some Democrats have felt little urgency in pursuing the controversial issue, partly because they see no risk that Hispanic voters will bolt the party for the GOP. But Gutierrez says they are missing the real political consequence of inaction.

The Rev. Al Sharpton says he will challenge Arizona's new immigration bill in court and on the streets.

Sharpton is joining Lillian Rodriguez Lopez from the Hispanic Federation to announce a legal challenge to the bill.
They say activists are also prepared to commit civil disobedience to fight the Arizona immigration bill.

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer signed the bill Friday. It requires police to question people about their immigration status —
including asking for identification — if they suspect someone is in the country illegally.

The law will take effect in late July or early August.
