Thread: "Powder Keg" ? in Washington Sunday

Glenn Beck is interviewing Congress members Michele Bachmann and Steve King. He mentioned all of the groups gathering Sunday, and he said that this has the potential to be a "powder keg," with all of the varying groups. Steve King said that the Capitol Police may be nervous, but he believed that Americans would be respectful.

Some of the groups on the mall, and elsewhere, will be Workers of the World (Communists), more groups for and against Health Care, and the Illegal Immigration Rally. Steve King will be at the immigration rally he stated.

Glenn mentions the possibility of growing "Civil Unrest."

Senator Harry Reid issued some comment about the public option coming up. Who knows what all is being promised.

Yes, but Rep King said that unless we want "socialized medicine" and the ruin of our country - this is our last chance to fight against the health care bill.

Also he said in the American people are peaceful and they just want to have their voices heard on health care.

I don't believe in any way whatsoever that it will be a powder keg.

I do believe that is part of the Saul Alinksy rules for radicals that says to demoralize and alienate your opponent.

They are doing this so people will get scared and not show up.

I've been reading the various forums on this subject and in the past
few days...its scary. If this thing passes especially the way Pelosi is
planning on doing it people are gonna get "wee-wee-ed up" in a big
way. Congress is serously going to shoot themselve in the foot over
this one.

The way I see it, passing any law when it's clear that the majority of
"we the people" don't want it is unconstitutional no matter how you go
about it and some kind of legal action needs to be taken.

Also they were expecting 100,000 to show up for the illegal alien bill - but we are hoping for over 1 million to show up against the health care bill.

In fact if 2 million could show up it would be even better!

They want to surround the capital - the We Surround Them!

Glenn Beck just asked all of his viewers to go to the Capital tomorrow and if you can't to go to your congressmens local office and sit outside and don't leave!

Now two members of Congress may have been promised water for their area, if they support the bill, but not the rest of California, now in need.

Rep. Nunes, a Republican - they have cut the water off in the Garden of Eden. 20 % unemployment. He says that this is what you get with Nancy Pelosi and other San Francisco, Hollywood types.

IMO the only disturbance will be from rowdy illegal aliens banging their drums and shouting in foreign languages. I hope they make a lasting impression.
