    Fair Update: Votes Being Extorted to Fast Track Amnesty!

    SENATE SELL-OUT!

    Votes are being extorted to fast track amnesty!

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    FAIR exclusive analysis

    What the Bush-Kennedy Bill (S. 134 is:

    "It's like a loose thread on a cheap sweater, you start pulling and the sleeve comes off."- Senator Byron L. Dorgan (D-ND)

    * Amnesty Without Limits.
    * Illegal Aliens Eligible for In-State Tuition.
    * No English Required.
    * Social Security Rip-Offs.
    * Border Fence Cut Short.
    * 24 Hour Limit on Background Checks.
    * Gang Members Eligible for Amnesty.
    * Undermines U.S. Sovereignty.
    * Estimated $2.6 Trillion Cost to Taxpayers.
    * Illegal Aliens Not Required to Pay Back Taxes.
    * Fugitive Aliens Eligible for Amnesty.
    * Chain Migration Expanded to Absorb Backlog.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    The American public spoke and told Senate leaders they would not accept an immigration strategy that is mis-guided and ill-advised.
    Yet, those same Senate leaders are once again trying to force the SAME amnesty bill on the American people.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    "You talk about folks who understand what's at stake here with the illegal alien invasion, and what's at stake in dealing with our border security, you can't do better than the Federation for American Immigration Reform." -- Bud Hedinger, WFLA

    "If the American people knew what was in this bill, there would be a massive outcry against it." - Senator David Vitter (R-LA).

    Last week, Senator leaders met, once again behind closed doors, to negotiate a "compromise" to move the Bush-Kennedy bill forward. These Senators announced they would re-introduce the bill you so loudly said you did not want. This move clearly says the will of the American people is stronger than the solidarity between big business, special interests and lawmakers.

    Make no mistake, this bill, which will be re-introduced this week, still undermines our nation's basic sovereignty, jeopardizes homeland security, and undermines the middle class. There still has been no cost analysis done and many of the Senators, who had not read the bill the first time they debated and voted on it, still have not read it.

    We must tell the Senate once and for all that this bill is unacceptable to the American people and not in the best interest of our nation.

    With your support we were able to win the first battle. With your continued support we can win again.

    Wait there's more!

    You didn't even mention a new "National ID Card".

    Also, the bill allows the illegals to bring in their family members who are still in their home countries. This includes but is not limited to, children, spouses, parents, grand parents, aunts and uncles. Once here is there any doubt that these new "immigrants" will insist that they be allowed to bring in their remaining relatives? The CBO estimates that as many as 100 million could be brought in under this law.
