Are illegal field workers responsible for the E-Coli?
I'm just curious. Is the resent outbreak of e-coli in California a result of the illegal field workers. Could it be because they don't use the portables available to them and in stead us the fields and riverbeds for their waste areas? I'm not being mean but they don't really care how many Americans become sick from these infections. This is just a question to think about. After all Cali is my home state and I care about how it is being effected.

could be
I have given that a lot of thought and it is very possible. Unfortunately third world countries sanitation practices are no where near what ours are. It would not surprise me if illegal workers us the fields as a bathroom. And then there is WASHING HANDS! Ooooooo I can get a mental picture and it makes me want to throw up!

I don't think they know 100% for sure. I'm sure it contributes but not necessarily the total cause.

The sad thing is that inspectors don't care to check that far. They stop at the processing plants. But how many citizens must suffer or worse die from this? This could stop, all of this if only they would do raids on the fields. I've seen them raid almond fields before when I was a kid but havent seen any raids since then and I live in the Central Valley and see illegals everyday in the fields. But hay why should they leave their cozy offices to do their jobs. They can just sit and get paid to do nothing. WASH ALL OF YOUR FRUITS AND VEGGIES WELL BEFORE SERVING! THIS IS NOT A JOKE E-COLI IS NOT PICKY ABOUT ITS VICTIMS!

We will never know for sure. My personal opinion is yes, but the authorities will never tell us if it is. They'll blame it on the cows.

I'm guessing that it is due to illegal immigration since I haven't heard otherwise.
God forbid they tell the truth about the negative impacts the invasion is having on our country, even if Americans are dying because of it.

That would be obsurbed since no illegals have gotten sick and died, so that makes me think it happened after the produce left the field. I would suspect terrorist acts.
