The article "State bill targeting illegal immigrants denounced in city" (Reading Eagle, May is the last straw. You retired your journalistic integrity, and I am retiring my subscription to your paper. Norman Colon is outright lying when he compares the Arizona immigration law and the Pennsylvania bill modeled after it to Nazi Germany. Who's perpetuating the hate, law-abiding U.S. citizens or this head of a special interest group?

The issue of illegal immigration isn't about hate or racism; it's about the lack of respect illegal immigrants have toward the laws and people of this country. I'm tired of being called a racist and hater. I don't care where illegals come from; they came here knowingly breaking our laws. That's the problem I have. If the illegal immigrants showed as much activism in their own country, perhaps they could make things better there with their demonstrations and demands for rights. As for their rights, I agree, they have the same right to go to jail as any other lawbreaker. Where lies illegal immigrants' loyalty? Many need to take down their foreign flags and fly the stars and stripes, or how about they just leave?
