Talking points on Fred Thompson
Ok, I have heard concern on here about Fred Thompson who will most likely announce is run for President during the 4th of July holiday. Please give me information that I should know before I support him. Please show me some facts if you have concerns. Thanks for all input. I definitely want to make the right choice for 2008.

alisab:
Also, please do look at the other 3 'friendlys' from our perspective as well:
Duncan Hunter, Tom Tancredo and Ron Paul.
Each has a different unique set of perspectives on the issues. However, each is pretty solid with respect to illegal immigration and getting control of the nation's borders, etc.
Where is the strong enforcement-oriented Democrat in the race?

Yeah...I would like to know the same thing!? From what I can tell so far, I like Fred Thompson! Not sure about Paul. I would like someone in the White House who is strong on immigration/border enforcement and homeland/national security. Tancredo sounds interesting to me, too. I like Newt for his common sensical and intellectual forthrightness and his stance on these issues, too.
Regardless, it just seems that all the front runners on both sides are wimps and willing to sell out the country from underneath the American people! The real heroes don't ever seem to get the air time, promotion, or banter the other so called "TOP RUNNERS" are getting! It pisses me off!!"You tell 'em I'm coming...and hell's coming with me, you hear!?"

Fred Thompson has a website. It may give you some idea where he stands on the issues.

I'll say it again, Fred Thompson is a member of the CFR, he can say what ever he wants on immigration, he can say he does not believe in Amnesty fine i'll accept that.
But the CRF is the very people who wrote NAFTA and is working behind the scenes to put forth the North American Union, so he may be against amnesty but the NAU will ultimately give us the exact same result in the end. Open border and free movement of goods and people. Destruction of United States, the only difference it will take them alittle longer.
We don't dare go there, we must know the canidates or we are in big trouble, the NAU has gone so far we can not afford one major mistake, especially in the highest office in this land, we have seen what Bush has done. Please support ALIPAC's fight to save American Jobs & Lives from illegal immigration by joining our free Activists E-Mail Alerts (CLICK HERE)

Fred Thompson's voting record.
Bear in mind, he is for a "path to citizenship" for the illegal aliens.

I agree! Plus he's also a former attorney and lobbyist. Personally, that's 3 strikes and you're out for me! Just remember, these Republicans and Democrats make it seem as if they're on the opposite sides. But behind the scenes, they're a bunch of globalists with no loyalty whatsoever to the American people. Check this out:
Lobbyist
From 1975 to 1992 Thompson worked as a lobbyist in Washington, D.C. He represented such clients as Westinghouse, General Electric (the current corporate owner of the NBC Universal-NBC television network), and the Tennessee Savings and Loan League.[6]
By 1982, Thompson was lobbying the U.S. Congress for passage of the Savings and Loan deregulation legislation. The federal deregulation legislation allowed for additional government support of ailing S&Ls; gave U.S. thrifts the freedom to invest in potentially more profitable, but riskier, ventures; and eliminated interest-rate ceilings on new accounts. Thompson's recommendations were incorporated into the Garn - St Germain Depository Institutions Act of 1982.
In 1991, he began work with the Washington, D.C. firm of Arent, Fox, Kintner, Plotkin, & Kahn, representing overseas business entities as a registered foreign agent.

Read the following and then tell me how in the world you could support Fred Thompson over Duncan Hunter, Tom Tancredo, or Ron Paul:
http://www.betterimmigration.com/candid ... _gop2.html
Do you honestly believe the tough talk Thompson has been throwing around lately regarding the securing of our borders? If you do, you certainly have a lot more faith in politicians with questionable voting records than I do! Besides that, his membership in the "CFR" does a lot more to show his position than the impression he's attempting to portray through the media. We need one of these guys:
Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA)

Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO)

Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX)

IMHO, anyone that would support Fred Thompson does not consider secured borders and illegal immigration their #1 issue."The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" ** Edmund Burke**

I don't want you to think any of us would presume to make a decision like that for you or tell you how to vote, it is a personal thing.
I think most people would make a sound decision if they had all the facts.
Most of us know how much is rideing on this next election and it worries us and so we get alittle bosy, but I believe it all comes down to educationing yourself, don't ever be affraid to ask question about anyone of the canidates usually someone here has the answer, thats whats so great about haveing so many diverse people working together. Please support ALIPAC's fight to save American Jobs & Lives from illegal immigration by joining our free Activists E-Mail Alerts (CLICK HERE)

We have to get behind a single candidate sometime, it will do us no good at all if our votes are fractured.
