Local Pro-Illegal Reaction in L.A.
From NBC
"After word surfaced that the immigration bill died in the Senate, the calls came pouring in to Capitol Hill to the extend that for 30 minutes I (reporter Natasha Ghoneim) was unable to reach Senator Boxer's office because all circuits were busy. Local activists (standing behind reporter) are holding a news conference right now. They are saying that the bill may have died in the Senate, but they will rescusitate it; and they are going to do it by approaching the House of Representatives. They say that within the next 2 months they will aggressively lobby their Representatives. "
One of the activists said: "We certainly believe that we can actually move the House of Representatives. We believe that we have numbers in that Body that can actually have much experience in immigration law and immigration reform...that have been champions of this issue. We believe that they are willing to take risks; that they are willing to pass immigration reform; so we are hopeful that they will take on this issue."
Lots of luck...I think our local Congressmen have heard our message loud and clear!!! If they want to keep their day jobs...they will not listen to the millions of illegals living in L.A.!!!!
Just to make sure...it might be a good idea to drop our local Congressment a note to reinforce our message!
What we really need now and in the future is a few more Grande Marches organized by LaRaza et al. Isn't that what awakened the sleeping giant? I'm sure they will accommodate us!!!

Methinks they haven't been paying close attention to the House proceedings.....

They are not going to be able to move the House. The House majority has already come out and said they will kill any amnesty bill by a huge margin of 114 against the senate bill, while 23 for.
Good luck, cause now you have a mountain to move!"Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting the same results is the definition of insanity. " Albert Einstein.

This just shows that we have to stay vigilant. Even the rep from NunmbersUSA (Caroline Espinosa) who was on the Al Rantel show this am, said that this issue is probably not done with for the summer. As Caroline said, we should press to see that this focuses on enforcement such as what the House GOP recently released.
Soooo, I would say we have to make sure that our voices are still heard and that we want border security, enforcement of existing laws BEFORE ANTHING ELSE. So let's keep making the calls etc.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Maybe should be the time that these Senators, congressmen/women etc... get informed on the HUGE impact illegals have on us.. the sprawl, the degradation of our schools.. the fact they are criminals.. the fact that more people die by their hands than in iraq...
send those books out.. maybe they will read the corsi book.
Isn't it kinda funny that these pro-illegals are surprised? Who told them that it was a shoein?.... Seems they know something we don't.
We need to squash this now... because they will redouble their efforts....

I'll never figure out why the people voted the Democrats into the majority in the House, but it is what it is and we could end up suffering because of it. I'm going to stay optimistic, however, I'm under no false illusions - we will not get any strong enforcement measure through the House or Senate as long as Republicans remain in the minority. IMHO, all we can do at this point keep working to having our current laws enforced and the border secured - there will be no new laws that will work to our advantage. We still need to fear that darn AgJOBS program, DREAM Act, and guest worker plan! Anyone of those could possibly get slipped in another piece of legislation while we're not looking."The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" ** Edmund Burke**

It is really bothering them that Americans are smiling from ear to ear, jumping up and down with joy, and having another great victory over the amnesty traitors.
I bet they planned this to happen before the July 4th, vacation to demoralize Americans...but, We won again and this feels so good. I'm enjoying this big time!
I hope Kennedy, Bush and Reid aren't crying to much....<div>GOD - FAMILY - COUNTRY</div>
