Cardinal Mahoney Baloney
...scolding congress today for failing to approve a path to legalization. Standing in front of his non english speaking labor day mass it went something like this.
"....The first sign in big letters says Come help wanted help desperately needed here. Then down farther on the sign it say no trespassing."
He is nothing but a Wh**e and the poster child on how to hide a pedophile. He turns my stomach.

Glad to see the righteous Cardinal could take time away from his covering up of altar boy molestations to impart his morality. If I remember corrrectly LA County District Attorney Steve Cooley had to go after Mahoney to get him to name the abusive preists. During the time when he began covering up the molestations and taking heavy flak (June 10th 2003 to be exact), Thousands of Latinos took to the streets in support of Mahoney. It appears their "blood ties" transcend morality. Mahoney and the illegal community are anti-American.

I am a Catholic and I am livid to see a representative of my Church getting so involved in secular political issues. They don't do this in Church --why are they out in public doing it?

I am very disappointed in the church on this issue in my opinion it appears
perhaps it's a building new membership issue rather then political. Perhaps
he should go to Mexico and protest the fact that Mexico does nothing for
its people.I'm old with many opinions few solutions.

My husband is an Irish Catholic. I am a Catholic who has only been to the Catholic church once in the past 25 years, and that was to get married. Last night on the news, my husband heard Cardinal Mahoney. He stood up and made a declaration. He said that this family is no longer Catholic!! He then went on to say that this "scum bag" is far worse than Ian Paisley ever dreamed of being. (Paisley is a protestant preacher who preaches about kicking all the Catholics out of Northern Ireland and is believed to be the primary cause of the "troubles" in Northern Ireland over the past 4 decades.) At least Paisley was not declaring war on a sovereign nation in the name of the church. The Catholic church running nations stopped centuries ago, we can not let this man revive the tradition. This man has to be stopped!!
