Marshalltown, IA - "welcome" dvd for immigrants

I thought you guys might find this interesting...

^ click on the video titled Immigrant Walkout

One of WHO TV's reporters said that Marshalltown, Iowa has adopted a way to try fixing many of the issues regarding illegals in their town. Apparently, they hand out a DVD that explains the laws, etc. and it's produced in spanish.

I searched for about 5 minutes and couldn't find anything about this, but she held up a copy of it on the news. Check out the video if you can.

It's unfortunate that this problem is so out of control that towns have to resort to these measures to try to make things better. As we've already seen, it is often times less expensive for police to ignore illegals than to arrest them. There have been many examples of that around Iowa.

Minnesota just had a grand opening of a new "refugee/Immigrant center", just last week. To help them all find social services and get them assimilated faster....

Hey!! This is actually an excellent idea. They can include in their first video segment an in-depth discussion of US Immigration Law and then after going through all the nice things about their town, etc., they can say "if you don't have a valid green card, you should leave now with your belongings or you'll be deported without them" .
