Rude Allen Colmes on Hannity & Colmes

I was just watching Karl Rove on Hannity and Colmes. I dislike Karl Rove, however, I think it is outrageous how rude Allen Colmes is to anyone that says anything about the Democrats. It's one thing to disagree with someone about a subject, but I've notice that Colmes is out and out rude to some of the guests on that show. I'm going to send Fox and Sean Hannity an email about how rude he is.

Its his role on the show.....He has to play a token liberal who opposes any and all conservatives/Republicans. The converse is true for Hannity. Its really lame, black and white, lazy journalism. Lou Dobbs talks about this type of "reporting" in his book: "War on the Middle Class." He calls it "He said, She said Journalism." I think Lou was refering to this very program.

I'll catch you over here BFR, since I forgot where the other mention of it was located...

Yes, actually, I borrowed a friend's copy of War on the Middle Class and got about 1/2 way through and then was suddenly asked to return it so it could go back to the library ( ). It's a good read, no doubt. (thanks for the reminder just the same).

Here's one you'll see me plug a lot around here:

Echoes many of the same themes as Dobbs, but expressed with slightly different terms and descriptions - but the fundamental idea and mechanisms are both included in great detail. Disclaimer point: whereas Dobb's background is mostly in economics (with political overtones), Parenti's background is in PolSci with many economic overtones.

Thanx, Phred. I'll check out Parenti's book. I have read articles from him before. I remember reading something from him in college. Opnened my eyes that the media is not exactly "liberal," at least not on economic matters.....I think the only accurate description of the media would be "globalist."

Sorry you missed out on the second half of War on the Middle Class. The first half is the best part, though. You did catch the chapters on globalism, outsourcing, and immigration, right?

    BFR,

Yeah, I believe that is correct. It's been several months ago, so std. disclaimer (eg. faulty memory) may apply...
