Thread: Any Tarheels from the far western part of NC on board ?

Do we have any fourm members from western NC (west of Ashville and Charlotte)? Need info if we do.

How about the Uhwarrie National Forest area ?

I really don't know. Why don't you pm him?? I am almost sure he's from the Western part of the state. ALMOST.

WAIT, COI! Uwharrie is right down the road from ME. I say down the road but it's probably 20 miles or more. I would have to check with my sons who both go there at times. I guess part of it is in Davidson County and part is in Randolph County. It may cover more area than that.

Actually it's in Monutgomery and Stanely Counties. This is purely a personal search for info. I am thinking of moving from the beach and am researching both areas. Was hoping some of our gang would be able to give some impute by PM on the areas.

Montgomery! That's right. But, I am almost sure that part of it MIGHT be in Davidson and/or Randolph. I know one of my sons goes there to look for arrowheads and the other takes the horses and goes to ride occasionally. I'll see what they can tell me about the area.
