Mexican Counsel coming to Wkgn to heal fractured groups??

I recommend that local activist, heck all activist regularily moniter the Hispanic free papers in their area. I pick them up in those free bins and look at the websites. They write about my town, Waukegan, often because of our 287g application and recent ICE raids. The BABEL translation is rough but do I take it that ALL these pro-illegal aliens groups are not exactly working together, want a piece of the limelight, conflicting press conferences...etc... Sounds like the Mexican Consulate is coming to our town to demand that we work together to sooth the fears of the poor guys who may be deported. Yes? The picture is Emma Lozano (of Elvira fame) and our local activist Margaret, who has sued our city numerous times.

It looks for to approach groups A consul and the one in charge of protection of the diplomatic representation of Mexico will arrive at Waukegan to begin the connection with antagonistic groups and the appointment could be in "neutral territory"

The new policy of work of the general consul of Mexico in Chicago, Manuel Rodriguez Arriaga, includes a municipal approach with the different communitarian leaders and authorities. The previous thing was informed by the one in charge of protection Iona Navarrete Pellicer and the consul Jaime Almonte Borja. The civil employees of the diplomatic representation in Chicago confirmed that the visit could happen in two weeks, but until the moment of this interview they did not have an exact day and either a place for the meeting. Alerted on the ideological differences of the different groups and communitarian leaders who decided on the separation, Almonte Borja clarified that the meeting would be for discussing what is happening in Waukegan, independently of its position and looking for a neutral territory.

Almonte mentioned like example "a church", but the First Church inquired to him that even the churches already were divided, to the being Baptist, used by Center Without Borders and LCLAA for its meetings, in which Jose Guzmán, local representative of this last group, blamed catholic priest Gary Graff of not supporting the community. The political differences were increased after which the 9 regidores and the mayor Richard Hyde signed the 16 of last July the request to request to HOISTS the 287 certification (g) for the local police. At the end of August, policemen of different cities, including Waukegan, supported migratory officials in the casts to stop to delinquent assumptions, that according to bulletins of press of IT HOISTS were considered "dangerous for the community" by his criminal past.

On the matter, the consul of protection Iona Navarrete recommended the Mexicans stopped by HOISTS not to sign no document without before to have spoken with a lawyer or representative of the consulate. The civil employee recognized that she knows that is being to press the prisoners so that they sign his voluntary deportation. "But in some cases it is possible to fight his deportation", added Navarrete.

The visit to Waukegan would be the beginning of a program of approach of the consulate with the different municipalities. This connection did not exist before, or it had not at least occurred to know. The consul Jaime Almonte said that he tries himself to construct a bridge of communication with the cities. Who divide? The fight to avoid that the police of Waukegan obtains a certification 287 (g) that would allow the police to exert functions of migratory agents in a city where the majority is Latin, attracted foreign leaders to prevent it.

An example of the divisions between the groups was when Ramon Yearling calf, of the Labor Council for Latin American Avance (LCLAA), summoned to a press conference Saturday 21 of July in the First Church Baptist in Waukegan. That same day, the activist Margaret Carrasco de Casa Mexiquense (of Waukegan) also mentioned a meeting, but in the Belvidere Mall and both groups they were disputed to the assistants. Emma Lozano, president of the Center Without Borders (With seat in Chicago), said in a previous interview with the Race that Arming Rock, of the Coalition of Illinois pro Right of Immigrants and Refugiados (ICIRR), proposed that they removed from a communitarian meeting the 11 to it of last July.

"I already identified what happens in Waukegan: there are many organizations who have not managed to group people and think that one is going to gain the errand to them ", said to the communitarian activist when explaining the trips between the Hispanic organisms fighting against program 287 (g).

In that same meeting, Ricardo Pink that is made say representative of ICIRR in Waukegan, he ordered the expulsion of the envoy of the Race alleging that all the guests requested it, which was denied days later by investigations of this weekly magazine. Later another group, the one of the retailers arose, and although it does not have an official leader, Porfirio Garci'a acceded to an interview with the Race, declaring that indeed they were meeting because they did not support any boycott or protests. Boicots economic was organized by Mexiquense House, LCLAA and Center Without Borders. Another leader who has been separated is priest Gary Graff of the Sagrada church Family, who began meetings of connection between the community and the mayor Richard Hyde, as well as with the Department of Police © the Race

I don’t see much difference between the insurgents in Iraq from Iran, and the insurgents here from Mexico.

When is our government going to stand up for the American people and tell Mexico enough is enough!
