    HAZLETON – Mayor Lou Barletta, known for his local crackdown on illegal immigration, has been named Mayor of the Year by his peers in the Pennsylvania State Mayors Association.

    LOU barletta on LOU Dobbs says recent polls have him in front of the 24 year incumbant.
    and that hes getting support from places he didnt think he would, like a local union who understand the effects of illegal immigration.
    he even mentioned that he got a three dollar check from Hawaii.

    I just saw a smear ad on TV from the Kanjorski camp. It says that Barletta is a Bush henchman. I find this funny because they're airing this ad in Barletta territory. How stupid can they get? It will only serve to further distance kanjorski from the voters (not that he needs any more help doing that!)
