As we've stated in previous threads on several occasions, I thought I'd share what I saw on Discovery Health Channel, Mystery ER, show last night.

A young man, an orthodox Jew, began to have grand mal seizures. They took him into the ER and couldn't find much of anything. They finally did a cat scan and other MRI tests. They saw what appeared to be a small lesion on his brain but it didn't look quite right. They thought perhaps a tapeworm, BUT ORTHODOX JEWS DON'T EAT PORK. The doctor called the CDC and the doctor of parasitical medicine said it was odd they just had two cases of it also in an orthodox Jewish community.

The CDC had come up with an new blood test to test for the tapeworm. Sure enough the boys blood test showed it was definitely a tapeworm from pork. They all scratched their heads. They began investigating doing blood work on all the family and the communities where this was happening. Many people had it but were asymptomatic. At one visit the housekeeper came in and serve tea. She was Latino. The doctor from the CDC asked if he could take her blood for testing. She said yes. Sure enough she was carrying the tapeworm.

After a lengthy investigation, every family and everyone who had this condition had foreign housekeepers from third world countries. According to the report, this condition has spread throughout Oregon, Washington, Texas, and the Carolina's.

The boy almost died. You want cheap labor? You put your family and friends in real danger using undocumented and third world labor. Our government is doing nothing to protect American citizens from this and anyone dumb enough to use people of third world countries for their labor are just plain uninformed or worse yet they don't care.

We don't eat out much any more at all since so much of the food industry uses illegals. Hygiene is not high on the list of third world countries.
Needless to say, the housekeeper wasn't there the next time the CDC came by.
