Thread: CSPAN Now! Puerto Rico Statehood

I just turned this on, so I'm not sure how far this has gotten, but we need to pay attention to this. The House is trying to make Puerto Rico a state, and we all know why. They want more Deomcorat votes to keep control of Congress. Please everyone keep an eye on this and make comments here about what they are saying. Right now they are talking about the English lanquage.

Get a large piece of paper and also list the names of stupid Republicans who are committing political suicide by coming out in favor of such.

So far all Republicans talking against....I hope this has to go through the Senate so we have more time for calls!

Rep. Dana Rohrabacher is up exposing how they are skewing this by not just voting on whether to make Puerto Rico a state. He said if the Puerto Ricans were asked the simple question if they wanted to be the 51st state, they would say no. But the way this is set up, they are given two choices so that they will take the choice that says they want to be a state. These Democrats are desparate!

It's pretty bad when Democrats are getting so desparate that they will go outside of this country to get people to vote for them.

We still have time, They are taking a break for the funeral that some members are attending today.

The light comes on!!! 50% qualifies for welfare and Puerto Rico was not included in the Healthcare law.
