Supporting Ron Paul
Supporting Ron Paul
By Jimmie Witt, Lufkin
Thursday, August 16, 2007
U.S. Rep. Ron Paul is the only candidate I have been able to fully support in years for president.
• Morally he is known as honest and "squeaky clean" — married for 50 years.
• Fiscally he is known as the "taxpayer's best friend" having never voted to raise taxes and never voted for unbalanced budget.
• Opposes trade deals and groups that threaten American independence and protects our constitutional rights.
• Given an A plus rating by gun owners of America.
• Wants to bring our troops home from no-win "police actions".
Can he win? Whenever he gets off a plane there is a spontaneous rally. Whether in New Hampshire or California, enthusiasm for him is growing by the day. The fullest source on his information is the internet at www.RonPaul2008.com.

My feeling is that he IS picking up support, from Republican AND Democrats alike. Looks like he did rather well in the Illinois straw poll.
My feeling is anyone is better than any of these so-called media darling top tier candidates.
