    Joazinha on FOX News

For some time, I had been seeking a little airtime or printspace so that I could get the toll-free Capitol Switchboard number 866-340-9281 and times to call in support for Ramos and Compean out to my fellow Americans so that they could call in support for these two good men regarding their appeal next week in the Fifth Circuit Court in New Orleans. At a Citizens for Immigration Reform meeting on November 7, 2007, I was interviewed by a nice and interested Dallas Morning News reporter about my protests, and she accepted two of my info cards (one with the men's e-mail and prison addresses and website, and the other with info on the appeals hearing with the Capitol Switchboard number and times to call. However, I NEVER saw the story appear in print.) Ten days later, at the "March for America--NO to the NAU" rally in Irving, TX, on Saturday, November 17, 2007, I saw Channel 5 News from Ft. Worth. I tried to interest them in my "Free Ramos and Compean" poster and info cards. But Channel 5 REJECTED my plea for Ramos and Compean. A week later, on Saturday, November 24, 2007, I e-mailed FOX News. The same weekend, I added the Capitol Switchboard number plus the words "toll-free" to my poster. Last Monday, I began again to protest. For a few days, nothing happened. Then today, a friend who frequents a bus I often use told me he had SEEN me on FOX News YESTERDAY, Wednesday, November 28, 2007! Well, if THAT don't beat ALL! I sure hope and pray that my poster was videotaped CLOSE enough for the Capitol Switchboard number to be visible on the TV screen, and that if ANY fellow Americans happened to be watching, they SAW that number! And, HOPEFULLY, at least ONE of them CALLED in support for Ramos and Compean! (a short time after my friend told me of this, I informed Mr. Joe Loya, and he was SO pleased!)
