    What Country Was I In?

I had to go to an area in the City of Miami where I normally would never be. My relative had to do the immigration test so I went along as did my daughter. We decided to walk around nearby. It looked like a depressed area and I could understand why the Macys there was complaining about it. We went to Don Pan and only heard Spanish spoken and the music was all in Spanish. Walking down the street there were magazines all in Spanish and signs in it as well. It was like virtually no English at all. My daughter at one point asked me what country were we in. Finally after 45 minutes we heard English spoken. It came from construction company employees on strike. My daughter and I were joking saying they needed more money as they could not work for the wages illegals do and didn't want illegals to know what they were saying.

That could be said for ANYWHERE I go. I have been in the grocery store, completed all of my shopping, and never heard one word of English.

Florida... the best 3rd world country within a country

Welcome to Florida..... We are the best 3rd world country within a country on Gods Green Earth

By the way... we have hundreds of thousands of cheaply built homes by companies that used illegal immigrant labor... the homes are over priced; ya cant get insurance for the houses because of the hurricanes and property taxes are sky rocketing

come on down .... the Illegals only rape 1 woman every 14 hours....

the Illegal Immigrant DUI's is still high ... just dont ever go out side and all will be well

Red tide has the beaches filled with dead fish... smells a little bad but you will get used to it after a while

    Avoid the shell fish... hmmm

Bus loads of illegal Immigrants heading to work sites.... it's ok... white people can still do waiter and waitress stuff

shhhhh ... dont let your kids outside past dark.....

No, no, no, Ariborn....You are not reading your cheap-labor zealot hand-book. The cheap labor SAVES us money making things affordable for the American consumer. Its true I tell ya, its TRUE, I read it in the Wall Street Journal

That's the way it is working out. They moved all of the manufacturing jobs to Mexico and China.....The rest of the working-class jobs are going to illegals save the ones that require speaking English to customers. BTW, waiter/waitress is the #1 job projected to be created over the next decade.

Sorry, we are not qualified for that work, UNLESS we happen to speak Spanish.
