We must attack roots of immigration issues

We must attack roots of immigration issues
    08/26/2007

Now that the flawed and bad immigration amnesty bill was defeated in the United States Senate, it is high time we start dealing with the roots of our immigration problems or with the employers and companies that hire and profit from illegal immigrants labor.

What we must do now is to pass local, state and federal laws to make it a crime to hire illegal immigrants and to initiate heavy fines and punish businesses and companies that hire and profit from hiring illegals.

I would like to see proposed such heavy fines for any business caught and convicted of hiring these illegals as to be fined up to 30 percent of their monthly or quarterly profits, with the money going to the federal treasury to reimburse Medicare and Social Security for the funds that these illegals have already siphoned off.

Once these businesses and companies get the message and quit hiring these illegals there will be no more work or jobs for them and they will then hopefully pack up and go back to there they came from. This will be a step in the right direction to curtail and control illegal immigration and the illegals that continue to reside here and burden our economy and society for their own economic gains.

Good ideas. But I can make it much, much easier.

Let's see a CEO and his/her HR chief--just the two, no more--doing the perp walk on the eveneing news, on their way to a 20-life stint at Leavenworth or Florence, CO.

Overnight, the illegal immigration problem will be gone. Nobody in this country will hire an illegal and all those currently on the payroll will find themselves out of jobs, and damn the ACLU...ask yourself this: as bad as dealing with the ACLU and other anti-American litigation factories (La Raza, MeCHa, NAACP, Southern Poverty Law Cntr, etc.) is, would you, as a CEO, rather deal with them, or with the full might of a federal prosecutor? They can sue you into the ground...but they cannot turn you into the biotch of a guy named bubba in a federal maximum security cell.

Within three weeks onf the first conviction of a CEO, the southern border will be swamped with a stampede of illegals self-deporting. Most really are here to work the "jobs Americans won't do!!" (that we really will do if we weren't beat out of them by illegals) and once they have no more income in a place where it's far more expensive to live, they will be heading back the Jalisco and Chiapas in a mass migration.

At the state level...the same would occur, by the way. If a state were to convict and sentence a CEO to hard time....same process, first in that state, then quickly swelling to include the entire country.

Do we have the guts to do this?

    No.
