    WATCH LOU

Right now he is going to debate a Bushite economist claiming there is no war on the middle-class. Check it out, and bring the pop-corn. Lou says it will be "spirited."
Serve Bush with his letter of resignation.

    See you at the signing!!

Please help save America for our children and grandchildren... they are counting on us. THEY DESERVE the goodness of AMERICA not to be given to those who are stealing our children's future! ... and a congress who works for THEM!

This guy is an idiot who can't even support his own argument. He's just all over the place. He's no match for Lou's incisive intellect. Like the rest of his ilk, he's living in la la land, completely indifferent to the hardships average Americans are facing. Here's hoping there's a wake up call in his future---and that it's of a personal nature.

People working two jobs, families struggling and this guy tries to act like pie in the sky for the middle class.

The economists only argument seemed to be that women are earning more in median income than they did 30 years ago........well duh, FAR more woman work now than 30 years ago, and it has a lot to do with the fact that median income for men has DEcreased. He said that house-hold income is up.......I guess his only argument is that Americans consume too much, and that is why we are suffering. But Lou brought up the fact that middle-class income is the lowest share of national income since WWII.

If the upper-class can enjoy their goodies, we ought to be able to as well. Since we are more productive than ever, seems we should get a piece. I love how he made the claim of house-hold ownership being so high (sounds like debt to me on over-priced housing). This dude should come to Cali.

Would the Wall Street Journal publish anything else?

BTW, I love when the opposition claims Lou would never debate these types. He does it all of the time. They are living in this little economist elite wonderland, thinking that all of their theories are infallable and beyond reproach.

It must tick them off that a Harvard educated man in economics knocks them off of their high-horse, and that the intuition of American middle-class citizens is dove-tailing with impericle fact. Were not just pitch-fork weilding peasants. Maybe we actually do know whats best for us...
