The agenda of president Felipe Calderon's next tour to the United States will privilege encounters with his counterparts of Canada and the United States, and will barely include a meeting with migrants in Dallas, Texas.
In the Summit of Leaders of North America, that will be celebrated on April 21 and 22, Calderon will undertake with the U.S. president, George W. Bush, and the prime minister of Canada, Stephen Harper, economic and security issues.
According to the Presidency, on the first day of his stay (Monday April 21) in New Orleáns, the president will cut the inaugural ribbon of the new offices of the consulate in this city, after the previous was damaged by hurricane Katrina.
That day he will maintain meetings with Bush and Harper, whom he will have dinner. He will also visit Louisiana Children's Museum.
The next day (Tuesday April 22) he will again have a trilateral encounter with the leaders of North America and then he will travel to Dallas, where he will have a meeting with counselors of the Institute of Mexicans abroad.
In this visit, that will last scarce hours, he will also be interviewed with executives and journalists of the newspaper Dallas Morning News, and will maintain an encounter which is still to be define.

Why does Mexico have an inordinate amout of its consulates on American Soil. It seems as if they can open a consulate in anywhere and anytime they please! Are these "consulates" battle coordination centers for their illegals who have invaded our United States.

These Counselts are for our "Esteemed Guests" (Geraldo Riverras quote).. They do need a place to get thier Mexican ID cards dont they?
And maybe a heads up on where to get a stolen SSN? And where to bank, and the best hospitals, schools and such. Also they can find out what Social Services they are allowed in this country.

Calderon: "Wherever there is a Mexican...there is Mexico!" He wasn't joking!
Bush has spent his entire 8 year term invading Iraq; while Mexico has spent those same 8 years invading the US. What's wrong with this picture??? Bush has spent the last 8 years 'nation-building' in Iraq; while Mexico has spent those same 8 years 'nation-building in the US! What's wrong with this picture???
