N.J. Governor trying to balance the budget

I think Gov. Christie trying to balance the budget in N.J. is a good thing. Of course no one wants the cuts to effect them. Don't take from the police or the firefighters, Don't stop funding our schools. No one wants to take a cut. But I wonder how many Americans would complain if .......We cut all the aid illegals are getting. I wonder how hard it would be to balance to budget if we started enforcing our immigration laws in Jersey. Thing of how many area's would need less money. I wonder how many more jobs would open up. MR CHRISTIE ARE YOU OUT THERE ARE YOU LISTENING?

Very frustrating... I had sent him several letters via email, making it clear that I'm happy to see that we finally have a leader that cares about the NJ budget yada yada yada, etc... I then told him that we're aware that NJ spends approx 2 billion dollars a year on 'special interests/illegal immigrants benefits'. That it would be so simple to eliminate those funds, and there's our 2 billion. I even asked how he felt about the 287g bill. I haven't heard from him yet...if I ever do.

That's the one thing that really ticked me off was Corzine's special Immigration Panel, grrrrr! Anyone know if that has been disbanded since Christie took office?

We just did our taxes last weekend and owe NJ money this time. I've spoken to a lot of my neighbors and it seems the same with them. I hope next year, it's better but I won't hold my breath.

Scenario: You have lived a good life... For what ever reason your fiances or income are cut back. What do you do?

Do you increase your spending? Borrow from everyone you know and max out your credit? Move a bunch of people into your home that have nothing to add and can only take?

Economist think that is exactly what you do. Government claims that debt is how you gage the countries wealth.

Hi, It more or less allows ICE to train the state and local police to enforce federal immigration laws, by basically requesting the illegal for their immigration status if pulled over, during a sweep, etc... This way participants can arrest, then prepare for deportation...
Sorry for the brief answer. I have a detailed text somewhere in my folders. I'll look for it for you.
